Heheheh, very cool!
This reminds me of when I was watching an episode of Veronica Mars and thought FOR SURE that Logan was wearing an EDOC shirt. I did find one pretty freaking similar to it on the EDOC site, but figured it was just something in that style.

Time to roll out the new season of clothing? Or will CSI viewers just have to wander over and walk through last season here and on scrappy's guide?
edoclaundry has a special link on the home page referencing the show and featuring
4 shirts, only one of which is shown in the Mercury News blurb.
[fixed] ...featuring the shirts that will be on the show. This includes limited edition shirts designed especially for the show that are not available right at the moment. Hopefully they will be available by the time the show airs.
And another link listing when new merch will be out and saying fall caps are available now
(although when you click on that you go to the preview page and none of the hats are available to be bought). Although maybe they haven't finished updating the site...
. And indeed a bunch of new hats are available for purchase!

Front page of TV Guide!
Quote:
He's back! "Terminator 2" costar Edward Furlong starts a multiepisode arc as a "person of interest" when Mac's team works the trail of a serial killer who uses messages found on a line of trendy T-shirts as a how-to manual for murder.
This could be really really big for EDOC! Talk about product placement. And this implies it's going to be more than one episode. Amazing free publicity (even though the print info doesn't specify EDOC I sure hope they get enough on screen mentions to send the viewers to the real website (are the EDOC servers ready for the onslaught?) - I'd be curious to see how big of an impact the show has on visitors and sales.

CSI Trailer Hey, I just watched the CSI trailer on the CBS website (check ARGn article for the link) and I grabbed some screen shots when I noticed some Poor Richard promotion in the trailer!
Cap_001 to 005 attached are all from about a second of video starting at about 9 seconds into the trailer. I just happened to noticed them since I like to play/pause my way through videos that may include clues
Cap_006 is just a website that was in the trailer, but I can't make out the web address, which is probably intentional.

Wow! Considering how many times I watched that sucker (I must have been too distracted by the painted man-nipples), I completely missed the Poor Richard stuff! Good catch!
I've been wondering if the Tshirts sold from the CSI stuff (or the episode at all) would give us any nuggets of internet funfunhappytimes, like spanky video bits, or just a little nudge of "hey! yes! we're glad you watched!"
I guess we'll find out

The blood drips in the last screen cap - same as the sample code shirt on the edoclaundry site - the four drips look like the beginning of "nothing to hide"

EDOC in Entertainment Weekly In relation to the EDOC appearance on CSI, my fianceé has just informed me that EDOC got a mention in this week's Entertainment Weekly! There's a quote from Elan along with the overview of the episode, plus a plug for edoclaundry.com!

Just watched the episode, thought it was great, and the plugging for Edoc was particularly shameless. "Oh, it's so easy, you just take the code and plug it into this website, and then you get the next part of the ficticious murder mystery! [gratuitious shots of edoclaundry.com]".

Did anybody catch Elan Lee's appearance? Supposedly they gave him a walk-on.

I finally watched my tape-delay of this CSI:NY episode.
1) The last screen cap above (INNOCENCE) was from www.kodecon.com in the story, but that site now redirects to a CBS site promoting future episodes.
2) I personally couldn't pick Elan Lee out of a line-up, so he could have been anyone without a speaking role, from the beat cops that took the suspect into custody to the dead body in the morgue scenes.

Could Elan be the second murder victim? I'm watching now and have the DVR paused...Could be Elan (or could be Sean Stewart). But that would make sense - not much acting required.
My big question - who was playing the "creator" of the shirts, "John Hayes" who was selling that at the table stand? Hehehehehe. Chris Engen is kinda cute (sorry Elan).
Edit to add: I'm thinking he was one of the cops. On the left side of the screen as they were collecting Shaun Casey from the detectives.

Just an FYI:
Elan's scene was cut, or so I've heard.
