Spoiler (Rollover to View):
(22:14:53) Cooldrew100: Luc?
(22:15:05) Cooldrew100: I'm here to help you
(22:15:13) LucRaineer: yes
(22:15:25) Cooldrew100: What's going on? Have they contacted you?
(22:15:47) LucRaineer: they contacted me and said "BEGIN"
(22:16:02) Cooldrew100: That's all?
(22:16:28) LucRaineer: yes
(22:16:34) Cooldrew100: Weird
(22:16:41) Cooldrew100: What was their screen name?
(22:17:29) LucRaineer: eye14of14snake14
(22:19:05) Cooldrew100: Don't worry too much about your sister, many of us have helped with this sort of thing before
(22:19:42) LucRaineer: i don't have a sister...
(22:19:55) Cooldrew100: I mean your girlfriend, sorry
(22:20:07) Cooldrew100: I'm not on the ball tonight
That's all he's told me.
EDIT: Here's the rest of the convo:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
(22:22:04) Cooldrew100: Anyone else trying to help you contact you yet?

Quick Update, I did a search and couldn't find this, so:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Again, I've not solved the anagram (Buys Tie Our Use...is't gotta be one), but I've more reason to believe YouTube is one of the words. The kidnappers hadn't logged on their accounts in a while and now their profile reads
--- -.-. - --- -... . .-. / ..--- --... / --- -.-. - --- -... . .-. / ..--- --...
Which translates to "October 27 October 27" Is there a reason it is there twice? Maybe emailing the second email address?
Again, I could be wrong, as looking at the anagrams with Youtube in them yields ridiculous results like "Use YouTube, Sir!"...maybe they're polite? :p
Okay, maybe that was right. *boggle* Theres a video on YouTube now.
It looks for the time being like the video has been taken down, but here are a couple other things
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The Eye of the Snake website has "a splinter of the nova group" on it now. It is hidden on the page in white text as well as an anagram for "you tube user is 'eyeofthesnake' "
Also, I've not much experience with how images get distorted when uploaded to youtube, but the blank blue screen that is left on their site, when filled with 0 tolerance in photoshop yields a weird little shape. It was all I had to go off of and I'm leaning more towards distortion than not, but I just thought it was worth a mention.

OK, I don't know what this means, but it's something I couldn't find on any of the 4400 threads.
Go to Luc's forum, then click on his profile. You'll see that where it says website it's NOT "my inner voice" anymore. Click the link. Any guesses what that is?

How many shills are we going to have to put up with in this game? I have totally lost interest because the PM is forcing the pace by resorting to shills on this forum. The puzzles are the most unoriginal I've ever seen.
As with all indie projects, your enjoyment mileage may vary.

Anyone good at anagrams? We need this one solved: "sovereignty cobweb tense tint". I found this at oct27th.blogspot.com, along with morse code that said BEGINS OCTOBER 27TH and STANDBY.

If one of the 'i's was a 'h' it would make 'begins october twenty seventh'

Hi guys. Check out the Eye of the Snake homepage. We need those audio reversing skills again (don't know how to do that myself).
BTW Did anyone work out the password to the Linda Fontaine message on Luc's forum?

Another anagram that must be solved:

I'll give it a shot, but I'm not at all that good...

The passwords for the first two posts on Luc's forum are mentioned earlier in this thread (check all the spoilers). No-one seems to have worked out the other two. He did give a clue about the third password though (also mentioned a few posts up). If you look at Luc's profile in his forum. There is a link to a picture next to where it says web site. I tried to work out the password from this but haven't succeeded so far.
I'm glad there are still some people sticking with this, I think a few people have given up.

Thanks for that Mongo. I'd found the letters but didn't work out the phrase. I haven't worked out the 4th password yet either.
I've just spotted something else! I read through Luc's blog for Sunday 15 October again and noticed the phrase 'woah... lights are flickring...' So I went on to http://www.flickr.com and searched for lucraineer. He has one photo up which I've downloaded. I need to have a proper look at it when I get home (I'm at work at the mo).
