Confession Three

My name is Jennifer Nelson and I was a Jackal for Spoocheeeee. I am now and forever more a white rose. As I'm sure you are aware, the white rose are a secret society of people that have escaped from the land of Spoocheeeee. Most of us were Jackals except for our founder, Dick White. Dick White was once the leader of Spoocheeeee. He was not unlike "Mr. Alan Johnson". Dick will tell you his story when you meet.

My time with Spoocheeeee lasted nearly 20 years. They took me from Dixmont (in Pennsylvania) and I remained under the control of Spoocheeeee until 1998. In July of 1998 I was sent out to obtain a young man (for our Jackal program) from a resident care dorm at Bellevue Hospital. As I turned onto the block where I was to find the boy, I saw children playing on the street. I stopped and watched the children laughing and running through an open fire hydrant, I began to cry. I had not cried since I had entered Spoocheeeee. It was as if all sadness and empathy had been removed from or reprogrammed in my mind for those 20 years. Suddenly the reprogramming slipped away and I fell to ground and sobbed uncontrollably for the next 30 minutes. People looked as they passed me by but not a soul stopped. I finally managed to compose myself and got to my feet. I turned myself around and began to run downtown. Everywhere I went I was screaming to the people about Spoocheeeee. But the people turned away or ran away from me in fear. I tried to explain to them the truth about Spoocheeeee. I ran and ran until I reached a sidewalk cafe packed with people. I entered the cafe and stepped up onto a chair and told the people in that cafe the story of Spoocheeeee. I told them, "You are not now nor have you ever been in control of your life! Spoocheeeee decides everything. We are all fooled into believing in freedom and choice or divine providence or fate! Those are concepts created by Spoocheeeee! None of it is true! They decide all! From the moment you are born until the moment you die, they are in control of your life! All the haves and all the have nots are granted by Spoocheeeee! All the war and all the peace! It isn't us! It is Spoocheeeee!" The manager of the cafe wrestled me to the ground. As I was struggling with this manager I heard the sirens coming. I had to get out of there! I pulled my gun on the manager and he backed away. I ran out of that cafe as fast as I could run. I ran across Bleeker Street and as I turned onto Sullivan I felt a hand reach out and grab my shoulder. I swung around with my gun drawn to kill. It was the Tall Man. He gave me a tiny pink piece of paper with an address on it and instructed me to go there now. He told me to walk to the corner and flag a taxi. I did and that taxi drove me away from my life in hell. I must confess to you that as a Jackal I kidnapped and killed many. But I was told that it was for the greater good. I didn't know any other way. Spoocheeeee "obtained" me the same way they "obtained" Peeps and many others. I had been abandoned by my parents into the care of Dixmont Hospital. Dr. Francis Kinder found me and delivered me to Mr. Alan Johnson and the land of Spoocheeeee. I hope you Sammeeeees can forgive me for my past and help us to stop Spoocheeeee.

Under Mr. Alan Johnson's reign, Spoocheeeee has for the first time become vulnerable. They are getting messy and they have let their guard down. Spoocheeeee's ability to control all is linked to an ancient sculpture. To protect their power forever, Spoocheeeee broke this ancient sculpture into five pieces and gave these pieces to Spoocheeeee Elders for safe keeping. We have a rare opportunity. The location of the pieces has become vulnerable. Three of the Elders have recently died and Mr. Alan Johnson has not been informed of their deaths yet. Find the Elders and collect the pieces, Sammeeeees, and you will destroy Mr. Alan Johnson and free "the five". The Sammeeeee Barney had obtained the first piece. Find this piece. The white rose only know that Barney gave this piece to one of your fellow Sammeeeees right before he was taken. Be sure that you retrace Barney's steps COMPLETELY. The world is counting on you, Sammeeeees. After you find the first piece, tell Peeps. Dick White will then contact you about your next step.

SPEC - Barney found the first piece in Santa Monica, associated with Henry Kuttner. He hid it in a drawer at Berkell (Bob's drawer) - is this Bob Berkell (aka Addison)?

I've emailed both Betty & Peeps about this developement.

This is Jennifer Nelson's confession page and yes, it does tell the truth about the evil powers of Spoocheeeee and Mr. Alan Johnson. I am happy that the white rose have pointed us down the right path. We must find the first piece.

Thank you for bringing me the news, Heather. It has been a difficult and sad few days for all Sammeeeees but we can't forget "the five" and our journey to take down Spoocheeeee.

 		OK... so we discussed it in chat and thought that, since Dante has to give MAJ *something*, but we certainly don't want WR3's confession to make it to the wrong eyes, that we would create a fake page and Dante could "leak" that to MAJ...

...after several hours screwing with blog.com, copy/pasting the blogspot code into the blog.com page, and tweaking it as best I can... here's the fake page:

Another abandoned Mental Hospital:
Dixmont Hospital Sounds like all of the Spoocheeeee recruits were identified by Dr Kinder as abandoned or orphaned youngsters with fragile mental states that were easily swayed/brainwashed. Better be careful Dante & Jetamo Wink

Dick White is the founder of the White Rose group. Can't find anything on the search yet. Would he be considered White Rose One? I guess we'll meet him sometime (if we can find Barney's artifact).

White Rose Two was in contact with Barney. Can't find anything on search yet. Not a member of Care2 so can't search there for contact info yet.

Tall Man rescued Jennifer from Spoocheeeee. Should have more information from him at the meet Wed evening.

There are/were Five Spoocheeeee Elders (there is that 5 again). Three are dead (so two are still living). Who are these Elders.

Thinking outloud at midnight: Why did Happy Rogers have a piece of paper with a xerox from Barney's favorite code book (leading us to his blog) that had his name, 2p, that nasty phone number, white rose all written on it (in his handwriting). Message to HHR? Ben posted "these were on a roll in my Mom's stuff". Nothing about her going, or her taking these pictures (we never see her in the photos). Maybe she didn't take these pictures. Could this roll have been left to her by Barney??? Did he take these pictures as a clue for HHR to follow???

SPEC: Retrace Barney's steps.....go to Woodlawn cemetery and find that masoleum? Quickly.
/me wishes she was in the local area.

 		Somebody posted a few days ago asking if anyone had gone to the cemetery, there must be a clue there, and I agree w/ konamouse, they're probably right. But why would it mention be sure to follow his steps COMPLETELY? This to me at least implies that there are possibly multiple places to check and we're likely to forget one, or would have a hard time finding one, or would just overlook one?

I also haven't found anything for Dick White, but I'm thinking that there might not even be anything, if we're supposed to meet him after finding the first piece??

 		Emailed Peeps about our finding the real site, being concerned about it getting into the wrong hands by our "mole", and creating the fake:

Just thinking out loud again in chat and wanted to post it as well.

Possible original plan was we get the CD from WR3 and listen to the song. We identify the title and find the blog with that title. It tells us Barney is dead and "Those are the Notes" but that doesn't link to anything.

We are then to figure out the notes to the song and find Jennifer's original blog page "The Right Notes" and that was her confession (which you can piece from DWH's excellent detective work from the search caches). But since she was nabbed and maybe the PMs wanted us to get a move on into the storyline, they put the direct link on the AYG blog and had WR2 post Jennifer's "confession" there instead.

Just my thoughts why we found that musical notes page that really doesn't give us anything now.

Yep, I had the exact same thought this morning. I'm not sure it explains the "Remember to look twice" thing, but it at least explains her previous blog page.

 		I think that the notes page (the one I found) may have just been an older or alternate version to finding the http://afteryouvegone.blogspot.com/ journal. So we just found two ways to find the same thing. And on the same day, then.

But... Could there be different in the caches than the http://afteryouvegone.blogspot.com/ page? That would explain the "Remember to look twice" message, if there's some difference or anything like that? I got a lot of the text through the caches but not all (could, but gave up since we found the full script anyway).

Yes, you are right. There might have been something planned to be in the source that would require us to take a second look in the AYG blog to get the clue to find the Right Notes page.

Again, DWH did an amazing job finding that stuff. the Blogsearch engine is a good tool for the future - but we have to be careful about old stuff that isn't in-game anymore. Glad this time it was.

 		So do you think that there IS still something at the [mass string of letters] blogspot, or was it a clue relating to something else? As far as I can see, the text was the same. What else could it be relating to?

And thank you. Smile Now if only 'Dick White' would turn up something... Though I'm thinking that we might not find something on him at all, just end up having to meet him or be contacted by him.
