Sure Kree, I'll put you down as tentative for now. That actually works pretty well for me, since I can put you down for "misc." supplies, since you're local and probably know the area pretty well.

So far I've received 3 RSVPS, with the following supplies:
1 - Hot Dogs (Nathan's, Yum!)
2 - Door Prizes
3 - I won't ask for supplies since they'll be flying in =oD

Schedule so far
11am - 12noon - Meet and greet, door prizes round 1
12noon - 1pm - cardswap round 1
1pm - 2pm - Grillmaster Erik grilling up some goodies, cardswap round 1 continues
2pm - 3pm - LUNCH
3pm - 5pm - Lost Weekend Productions presents Devious puzzles and games
5pm - whenever - door prizes and cardswap round 2

Tentatively, I'm guessing around 12 RSVPs so I'd like to plan for up to 20 people at the meet including myself. This number is subject to change.

 		I can tell you that I will bringing goodies (read cards and packs and boxes of cards) to the meet for door prizes. I will also be trying to warp your minds with a few puzzlers for fun. In the least, this will make it different from the last meet. Also, how can you go wrong with outdoor grilling and beverages?!?! All-in-all should be a lot of fun.

 		Well, my husband has said all along since he's not actively playing and he works Saturdays that he won't be joining me. However, he's now decided it sounds like fun and he's asked for the day off. YAY! So we'll both be there with our Nathan's hot dogs and Wegman's buns. Very Happy

 		Yup yup! We live about 100 yards from one of the two current VA locations, and I used to work there. Great place, but it gets old pretty quick. 'Specially if you have a degree and you're having to do catering orders for rich idiots. It was just a part time thing for me and not worth staying. But the other employees were really great. I tell EVERYONE about them, and I LOVE their branded stuff. If you have any requests (within reason) lemme know!

 		Sounds like the masses are gathering...

I can tell you that everyone will be getting something from the meet. At least a pack or two (or more!) of cards. One lucky person will be getting a box of cards (woohoo! Trade me your silvers! LOL)

I have been extremely frustrated at the last three boxes I have opened and have gotten NOT A SINGLE SILVER! that is over 100 pack of cards (600+) and not a single silver! That is unheard of in card collecting! I believe in rare cards, but Mind Candy has taken the meaning to a new level of poor taste.

Anyways, look forward to meeting y'all this weekend.

Hey guys I've been sooooo out of touch and I'm sorry about that Embarassed

Aliendial did you send me the email? If so, please read my reply and bring what I asked, if not, please bring some beverages (soda in cans did pretty damned well last time).

So far I've only got 5 (perhaps 6 if I'm thinking straight at the moment, not likely) RSVPs, and I'm hoping that more people will show Sad

Anywho, I've been angry about my job lately, they put on a webfilter and I can't get to unfiction OR pxc from work, so I'm posting from home. Next post to come in a bit will have the address and closeup maps =oD

 		wow, kurtdevious, that is just unfathomably bad luck! If I buy 5 packs at the game stop, i am almost always sure to get one silver. The one time i got no silvers, I got 2 blacks. Then again, I bought a whole box once and managed to get only one or two silvers then, too. It is, as fFar as I can tell, random as advertised.

But I digress. I endeavour to bring a little something myself, but that might be tricky by plane. i'll see what i can do Smile

Glad to see so many people excited about the swap meet!

I'll put up some general directions here, they'll get you to my (very) short street, and there will be balloons on the mailbox so you know exactly which house to come to . I'm not posting my exact address for (hopefully) obvious reasons.

From Dulles Airport:
1) Take no-toll VA267 East towards Washington, stay in the right-hand lane to exit VA-28 North (Sully Road) towards Route 7
2) On VA-28 North, stick with right hand lane, exit (right) onto 846 East (Sterling Boulevard)
3) On 846 East, stay with right-hand line for 1.3 miles, turn right at Maple Ave.
4) On Maple Ave, go 0.5 miles, turn right onto S. Fillmore
5) On S. Fillmore, at 2nd stop sign (0.3 miles), Turn left onto Linden Ct.
6) On Linden Ct., at 1st stop sign (95 feet) turn right onto Autumn Olive Way
7) Look for the convocation of vehicles and Balloons tied to an ivy-covered mailbox (200 feet), I am the fifth house on the right side, just at the opening of the cul-de-sac.

I've said before that parking is at a premium. In the cul de sac we have room for 5 or 6 vehicles, and we also have permission from my neighbor across the street to use the strip of road to the side of their house for overflow. That said, please don't walk on their grass on your way to/from your car if you park there. They're very particular about their lawn. I'll see you there, bright and early 11am (or later) on Saturday, October 21st
