Yeah, same here. But it's just GOT to be something with the bold letters, right? I mean, the capitalization, punctuation, etc. Is the same as it is here and here (<- the link we were given on http://sammeeeees.blogspot.com/ ).

Couldn't it just as easily be something to do with the un-bolded letters?
Just thinking outside the box

I'm being nitpicky now, but I noticed what may be a *slight* error in the transcription of the bold letters (see line 9).
revised Randomeis' post:
fwrwhribne
HinheartHetowfe
Oosrradsinhgle
tcnihailougeel
tgumsheeerlbng
Tnrernalunimen
rwitpwthdi
alCherbekmb
oru
b
ibtibesr
Tauhodwlbertk
Buvtdolousdlgh
benenaryoiiil
h
so my revised version of the letters is:
Code:
fwrwhribne
HinheartHetowfe
Oosrradsinhgle
tcnihailougeel
tgumsheeerlbng
Tnrernalunimen
rwitpwthdi
alCherbekmb
oruibtibesr
Tauhodwlbertk
Buvtdolousdlgh
benenaryoiiil
h
which equals 153 characters.

Also, in case it helps anyone, or sparks a memory here is a link to the excel spreadsheet I have set up for the paradise lost puzzle.
Since the bolded text only happens in the first half of the text, I had an idea that maybe the letters of the solution where hidden in the second half of the text using the locations of the bolded letters. Here are my results (not that them mean anything ):
Mirrored or folded:
Result with aligning bottom->
Code:
h
simcnlsfotist
BuehanyVitahec
Hinssoeceapuu
otesHnhsulh
hoteruioelt
fysuefhce-
Oeeeivedsfaing
idtdhtnadetus
hashhpthshasds
Teothrughteasu
Lsntspthcaonwro
efryyiforF
Result with aligning along fold->
Code:
n
icoisysuceoer
Shlivemiffntnd
Hnmsunrthedei
eteycahecal
isisteseaer
khegeetloi
Sttunstomoelow
hesetfrhpipe-
eaenciduallgdt
Wgwthrdligtinp
Paphaspehihafcs
thougvsaou
Translated down:
Result ->
Code:
godstoidns
Whottesmsueedea
Slreveimiffild
inosonlsomtien
ueerctotrll--
Hmieofvegeaean
khegeetloi
hoteruioelt
ersttterecp
Oavneiflinnde
Wieihrligtgnim
rhptpthisasce
o
I don't think these are correct (all of them result in a missing letter on the lines - see the '-' dashes in the result), but I thought I would post in case it gave anyone an idea.

I like the idea of folding a lot, but after playing with it for a while, I am reminded that we are supposed to get a name out of this (e.g., Dick White). Since the bold letters are just in the first 13 lines of text, I wonder if the final answer (firstname+lastname) will be thirteen letters long. That would mean that each line should produce just a single character.

So for what it's worth, it's possible to make an exact 14x11 square with the bold letters:
Code:
fwrwhribneH
inheartHeto
wfeOosrrads
inhgletcnih
ailougeeltg
umsheeerlbn
gTnrernalun
imenrwitpwt
hdialCherbe
kmboruibtib
esrTauhodwl
bertkBuvtdo
lousdlghben
enaryoiiilh
OR 11x14
Code:
fwrwhribneHinh
eartHetowfeOos
rradsinhgletcn
ihailougeeltgu
msheeerlbngTnr
ernalunimenrwi
tpwthdialCherb
ekmboruibtibes

SOLVED finally had a chance to get caught up with the story. saw a big fat clue in transcript of the peeps gabcast. and that led me to the solve:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the clue was the Francis Bacon quote. Francis Bacon was also known for the bacon cipher.
in the Paradise Lost quote, replace non-bold letters with "a" and bold letters with "b", so:
"by right of w ar , wh ate'er hi s b usine ss be"
would be:
"aa aaaaa ab bab bbaaaab aba baaabbaa aa"
doing that for the whole quote up to the last bold letter (+1 letter to make it divisible by 5), regroups into groups of 5:
aaaaa aaabb abbba aaaba babaa abbaa aabaa abbab baabb baabb
aabbb aaaaa baabb aabaa babbb abbbb ababb aaaaa abaaa abbab
baaba baabb aabbb aabaa baaab abaaa baaba aabaa abbba aabab
baabb aabbb aabaa baaba abbbb abbba abbba aaaba aabbb aabaa
aabaa aabaa aabaa aabaa aabaa abbaa abbbb abaaa baaab aabaa
aaaba aaaaa abbab aaaab aabaa aabab abbba babaa abbab aaabb
aaaaa baabb baabb aabbb aabaa babba abbba baaab ababb aaabb
abaaa baaba abbba babaa baaab baaba
do the bacon cipher thing (aaaaa = A, aaaab = B, etc.):
adpcwneovvhavezqmaiotvhesitepfvhetqppcheeeeeenqisecaobefpwodavvheypsmditpwst
then simple sub gives: adocumentthatexplainstheriseofthespoocheeeeeempirecanbefoundattheworldisours
add spaces: a document that explains the rise of the spoocheeeee empire can be found at the world is ours

on http://theworldisours.blog.com/ the name of white rose 2 can be found:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
spelling mistakes in the text gives:
nedd? luddiswhitertwo or "nedd? ludd is white r two"
there could be another letter where the ? is because of the "a larger Roman army arrived in Sicily and defeated the them ". they also changed the spelling of Eunus to Euris part way through...
somebody really should recheck since i went through this part quickly...
i'll leave it up to u guys to email white rose 2 at muchomail...
EDIT: i sent a test message to neddluddSPLAT muchomail.com and it didn't bounce

Thought I saw something in the source that wasn't on the page, but it was on the page, I just hadn't scrolled all the way down.
Nevermind

Holy smokes, where would be we be without grumpyboy to solve these codes for us? Fantastic job!
Anyway, Ned[d] Ludd was the mythical leader of the Luddites, leading the battle against the rise of technology. Interesting analogy...

Nice one gb! I tried a bacon cipher on it last night, but since the results didn't make sense, I gave up. Silly me gave up too easy.
