They seem to be sending a message. Do you know anything about a dorm that may have a place with no windows.

Is your mom sending you a message when she tells you to walk Happy twice a day. I don't think under the circumstances she would really want you to do that.

If you can think of anything that might help, please let me know.

I crashed in the bathtub last night and just woke up like a half hour ago with Aunt Jayne pounding on the door. My Aunt thinks I'm crazy or getting high in there or something! And I am not sure but I think Dwin lives in Rustic Canyon somewhere which is part of Santa Monica but I don't know exactly where. Don't panic Sylvia I am not going to school until you guys tell me its safe. I gotta go downstairs to tell my Aunt Jayne that I don't feel well enough to go again today and then I will take my Mom's folder into the bathroom (just to be safe while she's at spin class). I'll write to you guys later.

She claims she got an email from you. Did you send anything to Mr AJ to give to your mom? If not, then he created one and at least she is not so worried. But we're also wondering if you get any "secret message" vibes from what is said. Personally, I think she is just being a mom and making sure you are taking care of the dog (is the dog's name really "Happy"?). Which reminds me, if I'm going to try to reach this Cathy person, I need to know Aunt Jaynes full name (and your surname) to be convincing.

On the other hand, I think this Cathy person posing as Dwin's mom is fishy. You are right. Dwin appears in the video and I think he is only 12 (hahha, his MySpace says 15). definitely middle school (we called it Jr High back in my day; I went to Lincoln for 7-9th grades, Samohi for 10-12, I think they changed it to a four year school at least 10 years after I graduated). Does Dwin live in Santa Monica also?

Keep up the good work. Looking forward to seeing more of your mom's notes to help unravel this mystery. I'm starting to think that Patricia Moore/Mr Alan Johnson may be one and the same (wouldn't that be a hoot and scary all at once).

I sometimes repeat things that one of you may have already told him, as if I don't know what you have said or he has said to you - cause in real life we wouldn't have UF to share this info.

It's also interesting to see what the characters do and don't answer. Interesting that he is combining our responses and just giving us the same email (are we giving him too much work??? Wink

)

Rustic Canyon is not within the Santa Monica School District per se - unless he is on the border and just likes to say he lives there instead of SM. It's a more affluent neighborhood.

"smoking jacket" with red clogs. He's smooth. (not) Okay now he's looking
over my shoulder and telling me to delete what I wrote about the red
