[SPEC] Cube-Nanotechnology?

We now know that the cube is, to some degree, intelligent. We also know that it has, or is composed of, trillions of material processors. As the cube is obviously much too small to contain trillions of normal material processors of any kind, this information suggests to me that the cube is a weapon based on universal nano- (dis)assemblers. This would be consistent with the abilities that the cube has been shown to posses thus far, apart from it's seeming teleportation of CT. (And even this can be explained, if you assume that the teleportation is reliant on a quantum phenomenon.)

Has anyone else come to this (or similar) conclusion? I'll post more speculation tomorrow, as it's relatively late here at the moment.
