It looks good with what we've got to work with. There's just one thing bugging me: Who was Thorpe? Maine said that he ended up "in the wall." There's the possibility that Thorpe was Mjr Elan's first name, and that Maine was, in fact, the last subject. That would make Mima's conclusion that he was the first subject make more sense. If that's the case (and it's a big "if" as "thorpe" just doesn't seem like a very plausible first name) then that would insinuate that he and Maine were closer friends than were the others.

The other possibility is that he was an entirely separate subject, and that his records are not part of the files that Kurt recovered. This seems possible because we don't have records of the consecutively numbered Laikas, either. If that's the case then a lot more people could have been killed in these experiments.
