How and why did this email arrive in your inbox? Why has no one else gotten it?

I'll repeat what I posted in the OE forums, just for your sake, since you're the only one who seems to care, and ever has...

Because I'd emailed her before when we first found her info, checking to see if she was real. I can't say why she hasn't emailed or replied to anyone else. I don't know, it's not my call. I had asked again just recently, as I'm sure many others (who found her email) have, if she knew of anything that was going on. Quite often a single email may get sent out in ARGs to people who would be sure to share it with the community. There is no hidden secret. There is no conspiracy. I am not 'in cahoots' with the PMs, nor a PM myself.
And that's that.
She is a real person, and since her email was not given out 'ingame', it hasn't been made public in resources the same as, for example, Mike and Faith's have, which is why I also won't quote her address. It's accessible for those who look, but not necessary for the game.

This ARG is quite unique in itself just for the fact that it uses real people as characters. So as a community we need to decide how to treat situations like this, respecting the game, the real people - and the players.
