 		After talking in chat about all the clues we have and looking at Woodlawn cemetery as a place we have to check out. I spec'd that the nun could be spelling out "WOODLAWN".

Possible change of a word in the song to GRAVE
Secret word from Nedd ELKINS (anagram to IN ELKS?)
Linear B scribbles in book UNDER THE PALM TREES GUIDES LISTEN

Red found an ELKS area in the WOODLAWN cemetery (Santa Monica). There are plenty of palm trees in that area.

Next step? I've emailed Cathy to see if she can check it out - if Random can't make another trip out there this weekend.

 		enaxor had the good thought to use Google Maps to further identify the cemetery, so I am attaching an image with the "Elks section" marked. [She also noted that the road that runs through the cemetery below the Elks section is called "Palm" -- perhaps that ties into the book clue?]

I've also marked the location of the FostersFreeze where HHR carried out her mission. I don't know if it is significant that it is so close...

The clue is "UNDER THE PALM TREES GUIDES LISTEN (or PAY ATTENTION).
Notice in the photograph there are two palm trees on the left? If I
was going to the cemetery I would start there and look around for
something buried or well hidden. If that isn't the correct palm
trees, then I'd be looking at grave markers under palm trees that
might correspond with GUIDES LISTEN within the Elks section of the
park.

If needed, you can call me on Sunday. I'll be at work and have an
appointment from 11a-12:30p. Here is my number: 702-610-8510. Some
other Sammeeeees may also send you their number and you might call
them for help (especially if I get tied up with more clients).
Earlier I had asked Nedd Ludd if he could go to the cemetery but he
seemed pretty freaked out by the place; so I asked if he knew if any
of the other White Roses might be available. I'll let you know early
in the morning if there is any response.

I hope Mr Alan Johnson is significantly indisposed during his trip so
he doesn't bug you. Please be careful around him. Charm, smarts, and
feigned loyalty can only go so far with anyone like him. I'd suggest
you avoid using your work email for any more coded messages if
possible.

all want Kevin home with you, safe & sound, away from the hands of the
Spoocheeeees.
