How can I get in on an ARG from the start?

The ARGNet mailing list will also send out new game alerts when major ones happen, iirc.

The larger "professionally" done games come along a couple times a year (in good years), and they're always announced for sure. The smaller grassroots games are a little tougher, as ya never know what's going to turn out ok as opposed to what's going to implode.

My advice is to subscribe and maybe lurk and wait/watch for something that shows heavy investment behind it (I'm not talking just in money), or just piques your interest.

If it helps, The Purification may be an ARG, and that should reveal some things soon. Also, Hallow's End just started 2 days ago i think

I think it'd be good to lurk. Or if not, there's a thread in the PM section (I think) where you can put your contact details, and PMs may send you trailheads when their game is launched.

or you could cheat and get a treeo/sidekick and check the boards in class... not that i've ever done that. plus since you're a pharm student the planner features will help. lol.
