yeah I've had a quick look, looks like some of the windows have been blacked out in both pics, so I'm guessing there may have been something there...

I suggest we keep an eye on the 'comments' link also, there's some things there that have caught my interest.

Professor Erikson has said in the contents what RUMI stands for.

"RUMI stands for: Representational, Umbral, Magical, Internet."

However he also said, "RUMI has another meaning but I abhor spelling things out too much. See if you can figure it out!"

So that may be something to think about.

And just incase it means something,

Vorsicht is German for caution and Ayer is Spanish for yesterday.

You're absolutely correct.

That hasn't been there before, thanks for telling us!

I can definetely hear "Stay" and "Why?", I can see what you mean by the "gnugnuket" thing but I reckon the whole whispering bit that is impossible to understand is on a loop and the "gnugnuket" is the end of it; hence the pause and then the unintelligble whispering repeating.

But, I can't hear a "are you there?" at all.

I'll comment it on the post 'How Odd' that Prof. Erikson has made and hopefully he'll post back with what he thinks.

The Ayer pic has changed slightly again. Looks almost like a figure in one of the windows. From the original the main change was all the openings whited out.

For the Vorsicht pics, the main changes have been all the openings blacked out, the drain pipe, the colour switched to black and white, and some diffusion around the edges. No real change to the pic to go with the audio file, although it is different.

I wonder if there is significance to the fact one is "closed off" with white and the other with black...

Incase anyone ever has doubts concerning changes with the pictures or whatever, go on http://descry.us/images/ and look at the modified date.

So, Alisdairpark is certainly right that the ayer house picture has changed and there does seem to be now a figure at the window.

The whispering reminds me a lot of some of the voice effects from the game Dark Fall: The Journal.

One other similarity between Descry.us and DF:TJ - part of both revolves around symbols:

*The fifth dimension described by Professor Erikson communicates through (and reacts to) symbols.

*The Dark Fall phenomenon in DF:TJ is contained by a sequence of twelve symbols.
