Yeah, it sure does. So should we use Kendra's pattern to try and build one?

I went ahead and gave it a go. It's not exactly great, but you get the idea.

Found this looking for Rhombicosidodecahedron . For all you budding paper folders out there (I found Kendra's image really distorted when I tried to print full page). Having overlayed it with Kendra image in Photoshop - it seems to be a pretty much spot on copy - apart from some extra folding tabs (which might make folding it easier).
Would have a go myself - but am off out in about half hour - so will have to try later on tonight.

Hope its of use - but am not sure what its all about. Has anybody tried to desteg Kendra's pic? I'm afraid this is all new to me and I have neither the skill or understanding on where to begin with this - hence my lurking in the main!

For what it's worth, I did try somewhat half-heartedly to look for steg, but found nothing. I figure it wouldn't make much sense for steg to be there anyway in the context of the game, since that would indicate that the message-hider intended to give us a secret message and we don't have reason to believe Kendra would do that. So the mysteriousness appears to lie in its being delivered to her in a dream, if that means anything.

Updated.
Quote:

Triangle man.
(Which is, of course, They Might Be Giants lyrics )
Then she links us here: http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q38/Waterbaby_km
Might be arts and crafts time once again, or we might be able to pull out all the text visually. The lettering looks like the same orthography as appears on 'understanding.jpg', so we should probably be able to infer most of the words based on what we already know.

looks kinda obsessive boardering on looney. EVERYTHING is covered in that shape.
EDIT: Well, i tried to creat my own rhombodoodad and it turns out that the pattern from Kendra's blog is different from the one used in the photos of her room. So it's not possible to match up the squares with text from her walls to the pattern she provided in the blog. If someone wants to use the pattern from her room, go for it. I'm using the most basic of techniques in creating the patterns (i.e. i'm holding a piece of paper up to my monitor and tracing the zoomed in image) I don't want to do it again for the blurry pictures from Kendra's room. Searched the net for patterns but none of them seem quite like the two patterns she's showing us. Anyone else want to give it a go?

I think we can see most of the text and guess at its arrangements (e.g. relative baselines) by looking closely at the images. I'll post what I get as I go. Some of the characters look similar, but slightly different, from understanding.jpg, so they may correspond to upper and lower case. There may also be diacritics, but I doubt it. I may chart up all the symbols at some point, if I have time.
Here's what I think the text is so far:
Photo143.jpg :
working clockwise = ACKAN DI NY KAN
Photo142.jpg :
lower left grouping, clockwise = RA? IQN MFDKI FN LACILK
bottom right = same as above
Photo141.jpg :
top center appears to be same as 142.jpg
bottom left = LRA
bottom right = same as 143.jpg
Photo140.jpg :
top = IYK
bottom = FN (same as from 142.jpg)
Photo139.jpg :
clockwise = GNAR C?R ?NJ
Photo138.jpg :
SHAN
Photo137.jpg :
These all appear in other images.
Photo136.jpg :
MFDKI FN
(same text as in 142.jpg, but the handwriting looks different.)
Some of those are obviously guesses, but that should give us something to start with.
* Characters marked as question-marks may well be two separate glyphs as far as I know.

That looks like an actual font table to me. Time to start browsing some free font sites.
To echo her caption: Hahahahahahah I found a piece, too: http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/comicraft/gobbledygook/
The font is called gobbledygook, and though I'm not willing to pay $30 for it, we should be able to use the chart and the preview thing to make sure of what all the characters are.
EDIT: Hm, it looks like this font doesn't quite have a full load of unique characters. So lowercase b and uppercase R are identical, for example. Might make it tricky, but I'll whip up a conversion chart.

I think this is TRA. if it lines up with KAN above, we'd get TRAKAN = VISITORS...

Alright, now that we have a better alphabet in hand , let's see if we need to reconsider any of these. And I think you're probably right, nukedog.

This is what I see: one image per line, in-image left->right, top->bottom:
CUR ACKAN LACILK KAN RAU EN NY MEDKI ION
MEDKI ION
EN IYK
NY KAN DI ACKAN
ION RAU TRA KAN
UNF GNAD CUR
SHAN
RAU KAN ACKAN
The "U" could also mean "V", it's not in the font.
EDIT: Actually, it's CUR, not CUD

Do you mean that the character in Kendra's image that looks like an inverted R (for that font) might be a U, but isn't in the font? Just want to make sure we're on the same page.
But yeah, I think that's close enough to the GobbledyGook U that we can call it that. We can see other significant variations between the font and the handwritten versions in the letter for "C." What's actually written there looks a lot closer to the character that corresponds to $ because of the size of the aperture.
It makes no sense, of course, for it to be a $ in the context, unless maybe we're supposed to read it as an alternate S, so I think it's safe to call that a C and the thing that looks like an upside down R a U.
Man, it's hard to write about these characters without being able to type them. Do you care if we hotlink your images from the LantiLator inline here?

Yes, that is what I wanted to say. What looks like it is supposed to be a "U" (e.g. in the upper left corner of http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q38/Waterbaby_km/Photo142-1.jpg ) has the dot in the wrong place, so it could be a "U" with an extra dot or a "V" with a slightly moved dot. Hotlinking would probably be ok, as the images are very small. So I'll be the first to try it This is the "U": and this is the "V": .
I had also thought about the "$", but as you say, the "C" probably makes more sense.
