It seems to me there's some sort of writing between the two hands when the guy pops up on the screen. But I can't make it out. Could be something...Could be nothing... Can anyone else read it?

Thanks CrypticVision!

I haven't really played a BLARG (except perhaps, ILB) (and for the record, that's an ARG with heavy use of a blog for exposition), so I wasn't sure if the comments were in-game or not, especially as the other commentary appears to not be...

I guess we'll see. Has anyone emailed Brackin with this question directly?

(Personally, I don't meta-wise, see any other explanation for someone actually having the clean direct-feed video used in the countdown ending clip, other than this being in-game, but it's still odd, to have something that appeared to be intentionally obscured through "bad video" that shows up very quickly on a separate blog in full detail. (although I still can't make out what's on that screen next to the Pres of D.C....))

EDIT: By the way, from someone who used to play a lot, and now is getting back into the playing (at least with this one) and not just the "following", I'm excited to see so many new people in this thread specifically... I have a feeling you picked a good one to "start with". I know that not everyone that has a low post count is necessarily new, but I still see posts coming from people who don't at least normally post much, so that's really cool. Anyway, that's all. Welcome everyone!

Well, the youtube-address of the video is there...though you have to scroll a bit to find it.

Name of the video is 20061111_111111. youtube-username is foodefiant.

Also, for the record, a really easy way (and I'm not trying to spank here, just to honestly inform) is to simply click the video somewhere other than the "play button". That will take you to the YouTube site where the video is hosted directly, so from there you can get the submitter info and such.

EDIT: ALSO ALSO for the record, The name is "Mustafa Tang Fujimoto" (or another spelling variation of the same.) Which is a helluva name, IMHO... Smile

Hi,

I'm just a player. I had to register bogus blogs to be able to post with no hassles, sorry for confusion I'll try to do something about that.

EDIT: Fixed. I made my accounts invisible.

This whole thing looks too good to let it pass. I'm in.

So, I decide to go with this Foo guy, and I wrote him a mail:

Quote:
I'm with you man! We can't let a few getting complete control over this.

The future is ours, so what the future has to say must be ours too.
There's too many things at stake here.

I'll stay alert, just let me know if there's anything I can do to help you.

And early today I got a reply:

Quote:
Foo Fujimoto to me

You will forgive me if IYou will forgive me if I am having difficulty with trust right now - but there is more going on than anyone knows.
The team has *tried* to cut me off and lock me out, but they do not know everything that I know.

Be patient. I'll reveal what I know they are hiding as soon as it is safe.

...Unless of course you really wish to help me? Can I trust you Jose?

_Foo Defiant!

I replied back asking how could I earn his trust. But in any case, at least we have a full name now, Foo Fujimoto.

EDIT: the guy from the future is Mustafa Tang Fujimoto. A relative perhaps?

Perhaps Foo is short for Fujimoto? My first thought is that the President may be Foo, 30 years from now. Of course, Brackin or another person on the team would probably have said something if the President claimed Foo's name. Perhaps Foo/Fujimoto added the "Mustafa Tang" portion later in life? Assuming that Foo is 23-25 years old (pretty standard for a grad student), Fujimoto looks like he could be in his early fifties.
