WHile there are references to other religions/mythology, the majority of imagery seems pulled from Finnish mythology. So I'll throw this in there:

Tursas is the Finnish god of war, thought to be the same as the Norse Tyr.

He's linked very often with Rhiannon and a child.

Pwyll had a castle, but I can't find anything yet that he was guarding.

I've had a bit of correspondence with Sophie. She says that Bobby has stopped talking with her. When he got back from the war he started fanatically reading all of her mythology books and even tatooed Thor and thunderbolts on his arm. Apparently he's been using her altar and stuff even though he's (hypocritically) telling her to stop doing all that stuff. After his fight with Janna (presumably over the pregnancy revelation) Bobby went and threw out all of Sophie's stuff and burnt her mythology books.

Perhaps Bobby's starting to feel some sort of guilt at playing with powers beyond his control?

Oh, and Sophie also let me know that she has the power to call up winds and to call upon Nehebkau. That's a bit freaky, but Nehebkau doesn't seem like out The Two type of character...or does he....no, I don't think so...but maybe.

Edit: Speaking of Bobby, I just checked email and found a message from Ovdasupay entitled "Ask Bobby" with a low-res picture of what appears to be a victim of violence. Either Bobby ain't all right, or someone's going to some lengths to make us believe he ain't all right...probably both.

I've tried asking EVA for some guidance, it seems to me like EVA is on our side, so why not ask it's help.
