New blog from 9/13.

Okay, so I got a recording of the voice(s?) in the house, and with a little luck, and little phase cancellation/noise removal, I managed to isolate the phrases.

Here they are: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 (Go here to actually listen to the audio)

And thanks to Olly for providing a transcript of the chat.
For those wondering, Raphael seems to be okay apart from some bad dreams. Since we don't know exactly what happened, though, we left him in the hospital for observation.

Urg... some of that audio is creepy. Shocked Laughing
This would also make our first post from Gabriel correct?

Try listening to it at 2am while no-one is home with the lights off... freaked me out.

Indeed, it is the first post from Gabriel.

I typed out what was said in the audio, some parts may be wrong:

Audio 1:The flames were lit, the future burned.

Audio 2: I was dead at 80 of the ruined heart, dead at 61 of the rotted lung,

Audio 3: The key, touch the insubstantial door, cold, death was cold.

Audio 4: I was dead at 58 of despair and pills, dead at 45 anger and a gunshot wound, dead at 37 drowning in a bottle.

Audio 5: The words, epitaph, was that the end of my story?

Audio 6: I couldn't escape! 35, 32, 24, 22, no 20! It came faster and faster, broken under a bridge, my throat cuts, no! No, buried alive! Crushed! Burning! Dead! DEAD! And then, then the four, you set them free.

Audio 7: I see death, Raphael! I see it! And it has COME!

Not sure what any of it means.

My theory is that this guy or guys spirit/s are trying to cheat death by perhaps possessing new lives but every time they did they died at an earlier age than before, perhaps that is Death's way of getting them.

I have a feeling that one of them may have possessed Professor Erikson as evidence on the transcript of him saying stuff in capitals that obviously wasn't him... but then he did also say about using speech-to-text software so his microphone was probably picking up on the guy shouting at him.

Anyone else?

Revising transcript and a bit of speculation

First of all,

Good job Olly for typing down the audio files.
I have 2 points where I hear something else however. One iffy but the other one I'm sure is something else.

1. On the iffy thing: On the second mp3 file http://descry.us/sounds/2.mp3 I think it says "Heart" not "Art".

2. On the one I'm certain about http://descry.us/sounds/3.mp3
it says: "Insubstantial Door" not "in's of statured door". Do you agree?

As to the speculation: I agree with some of Olly's points. It looks like someone is coming back earlier and earlier only to be killed.
I don't know if it means anything but
-The first two deaths: Heart and Lungs are almost normal
-the next three are suicidal?? (don't know about the gunshot)
-the final deaths are violent inflicted endings.
Is there any pattern?

some number mumbling

Oh, btw here are the age numbers in order.

80,61,58,45,37,35,32,24,22,20

The difference in each case is 19,3,13,8,2,3,8,2,2
This corresponds to letters s,c,m,h,b,c,h,b,b which I ROT'd to no effect.

Please keep in mind I'm new to this so double checking might be in order.
Looking forward to see what's coming

I agree completely, and have changed my post to match yours.

I knew the door sentence was wrong, was waiting for someone to correct me since I couldn't work it out and 'Heart' does tie in with the related death of the lung.

I can't seem to find any pattern at all either.

i did the same with the numbers. except, i dont think it says then the floor.

it says then, the the four. you set them free.

so i have a four at the end. and its YOU set them free. i think its a legion issue. many ghosts together. each one died .

why the age is in order, im still working on. i tried ips made of combos also, no go.

i turned up volume and listened repeatedly. definitely no l in four.

slight change on Audio 2: I was dead at 80 of a ruined heart, dead at 61 of rotted lungs.

and I agree I think it's ...and then, then the 4, you set them free.

EDIT: It should also be noted that 1,3, and 5 are the "spooky" voice, 2,4, 6 and 7 are a man. If we combine:

The flames were lit, the future burned the key, touch the insubstantial door, cold, death was cold, the words, epitaph, was that the end of my story?

and:
I was dead at 80 of a ruined heart, dead at 61 of rotted lungs. I was dead at 58 of despair and pills, dead at 45 anger and a gunshot wound, dead at 37 drowning in a bottle. I couldn't escape! 35, 32, 24, 22, no 20! It came faster and faster, broken under a bridge, my throat cuts, no! No, buried alive! Crushed! Burning! Dead! DEAD! It was pretty silly of them to put up the ad picture before the blog update.
It should of happened the other way round, ah well.

Update on the blog from Raph, along with a page he has created with the RUMI green circles picture.

New update, and new puzzles on blog.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
First text is ROT, second is autonym, third is Hex, giving leucotomy (a type of lobotomy), dull (?), careless

I'm not sure of the order in the boxes yet, and two puzzles are missing

There's also a link now to divinationboard, which has changed.
