[UPDATE] Aquapolis Flash movie - Nov 11th It's different...
They've added a picture of the subpen airlock, and the "webcam" is no longer scrolling.
They've also got some new news:
"Main Control Area Operational"
[edit - Sorry for the fact that pretty much all of this was discussed in the "incident logs locked" thread ]

That was noted yesterday, see here:click .
The thread hasn't been paid much attention to though...
The subpen picture is puzzling me... why is it there?

Yeah, it's already here
I guess everybody is just at a loss as to the login, and that's why that thread is kinda dead right now.

I feel sorry for you Yanka, the incidentlogs really were your 'thing' weren't they? And now they play this "Guess the password and all we give you as a hint is a lousy Beatles-song" thing on us again, minus the Beatles song

I don't know how I missed that one...
Anyway...
From Aquapolis news section:
Quote:
02.11.03 Main Control Area Operational
As construction continues ahead of schedule, safety remains the number one concern at The Aquapolis. Construction workers and employees are now even more secure, as the Control Room overseeing the entire resort has become operations. At the heart of everything is the SafeSys computer controlled safety and monitoring system, built from the ground up by MetaCortex.
According to the MetaCortex SafeSys project lead, "While there remain many systems to install and bring online, workers already have the benefit of many of the state-of-the-art systems already in place and becoming functional. From fire/flood control to heating and air quality, from security to food services, the entire resort is under the watchful eye of both human and computer controlled SafeSys programs that are watching out for everyone's comfort and safety. No matter what might happen, SafeSys will make sure that everything reamins A-OK!"
2 things stand out to me now with relation to the "phone call":
1) The "everything is A-OK" from the phone call is now definitely from SafeSys at the Aquapolis.
2) The dude at the beginning of the phone call probably was saying "airlocks"

Oh, thanks for the compassion, Giskard
Soooo... which thread should be getting locked now? This stuff ^^ [EDIT] the "a-ok" thing, I mean [EDIT] has already been said in the other one, I think

Another thing of note:
"old" flash news page:
Quote:
01.08.03 - Aquapolis announces completion date
The Aquapolis Group set a target of the Fall of 2004 for the Grand Opening
Current flash news page:
Quote:
01.08.03 - Aquapolis announces completion date
The Aquapolis Group set a target of the Winter of 2004 for the Grand Opening
They changed fall 2004 to Winter 2004. To my knowledge, this is the first time they've modified previously reported things in the "news" section.

I think we should look closer to the webcam "glitch" I am seeing letters in it. Look at the blue rock upper left... It is showing most variation and at one point I could make out the word Free. I could be crazy and needing of a good nights sleep but I am really convinced it is spelling out something.

Let's make sure we're know which part of the image you're talking about. Do you mean here (where I've drawn the box)?

Bakntime, I noticed the fall-winter thing also. Haven't they been saying all along that they are ahead of schedule.
Mayalla, you may not be crazy, cause there is something creepy about that rock. I mean why would they change the whole flash.
Finally, i don't know if this is pertinent, but if you look at the end of the hallway of the subpen there is a screen that is the same as the control room screen. Hmm, that means that someone could probably access the controls from any door, assuming that each door has one of these.

Actually it is the below that one. The blueish one. I can distinctly see the word Free at one point and they are definitely other letters there that I can't quite make out. As you an see there is more variation in that part than any other. I do have to add that I have very good eyesight!
*edit* I have inverted the picture and you can see clearly the number 66 and not only there... I see an infinity sign on the lower lefthand corner * /edit*
