Sounds like we have a lot of Foo Fighters (me so clever Very Happy ) here. Has anyone reached out to Brackin? Seems as if he doesn't have much people on his side.

Maybe I missed something, but what exactly happened between Brackin and Foo? As far as I can tell, when Foo disappeared, he was locked in the server room, had his passwords changed, and found out he was fired after watching the archived broadcast. Did I miss something in the broadcast (which is entirely possible, as I've been following this at work, and have been playing back the video with the volume way down) ?

I think as far as we know, Brackin had already been upset that Foo hadn't been seen or heard from in weeks. And when Foo didn't show up for the big day, it was the last straw. So Brackin went all Trump on Foo's @$$ in the video when he (Brackin) had heard that he (Foo) was a no-show.

Other than that I don't think we have any details. I suspect there's more to it.

Foiled again! And if you're an AB, what are you doing talking the enemy?

Here's my correspondence with Brackin:

I'd be happy to lend whatever assistance that I can. Foo has some sympathizers on a message board I frequent. One of his supporters posted a message from Foo about this. Foo has coded in the backdoor access into the spectroanalysis code. With this access, Foo says he's found something "big" hidden in the spectroanalysis data. Do you know what was being analyzed? Do you still have access to that information?

Glad to hear that Jong. I've just gotten a MAJOR tip-off that Foo may have some backdoor access that none of us knew about. Will you help me find it?

Adam,

I've been following the recent event, and I believe that this project is too important for you to walk away from. I'm still not entirely sure what happened between you, the team, and Foo, but I believe with the importance of what you guys have achieved, and the possibilities of what it could mean, that you need to stay on. Don't despair, there are those of us who are with you.

Well, we know where the backdoor is but I don't think its wise to give it to Brackin, not just yet.

Anyone with me on this? I know theirs no reason to back it up, but I've gotta feeling its a bad idea to block Foo access to the data, their is something very big going on that none of us know about right now.

Agreed. Since the project has been taken from Brackin anyway, I don't see why we should give up on our only way to get more information right now.

BTW, where did the email-addresses for Foo and Brackin come from? Are they in the Blogs somewhere?

ETA: Never mind... I found both profiles.

Do we? =s we know it's in Foo's spectroanalysis code but as we can see from dv8's correspondance, he's already told brackin that. =S

So we do have two sides on this.. mhhh Shifty Eyes

I wonder what's the best way to do this... simply posting doesn't sound as fun as it could be, specially this early with just one thread on the rumors corner.

Well, I guess we'll see what happens.

[spec]

Since Foo seems to have some special knowledge of his own, it may be that the Foo/Brackin conflict is just setting up some other kind of larger conflict from the future. In other words, perhaps Foo isn't just disgruntled about his work environment. Maybe he's gotten a "real" message from the future that contradicts the one from Fujimoto, or perhaps he's even learned something about the alternate future Fujimoto hints at by telling us to change the future?
