Are you sure that reply was meant to me and not say, oh, someone defending the name Jessica?

Oops! I of course meant Phaedra. Sorry 'bout that.
Will blame it on a really bad typo. Yeah, that's it.

Has anyone checked out Hiro's blog lately? Its taken a cool turn; theres no more blogs since he went into the past. Speculation is he has undone all of that time where he wrote his blogs. Although personally i prefer the Predestination Paradox , its a lot less messy.

Last night's episode was SO GOOD! I loved how it ended with Hiro back in the past.

So, does anyone else think that pixie brunette has a power of "suggestion"? If so, why couldn't she influence the Indian doctor (when she wanted him to stay in NYC and not go back home with his fathers ashes)???
Can we see definite lines? Good vs Evil?
Does HRG man *want* to control Sylar? Would that make him good or evil?
When is young brother going to figure out his power is not flying, not painting, not instant healing, but that he can temporarily use the powers of others he has been near (or touched)????
So many questions. I love this show!

Next week looks like it's gonna answer a lot of questions, too.

I believe he addressed this in his conversation with Ando last night.

Well, we haven't seen enough yet to know if people remember what she's done to them.
So, possibly she didn't want Mohinder to know that she's a
mutant
hero.

Not sure. The previews have called Horn-Rimmed Glasses Guy "the face of evil" but so far he doesn't seem so evil: he's trying to 1) save his daughter's life and 2) prevent the disaster in New York. He may use coercive/questionable means, but so far I haven't seen him actually be evil.

I'm not sure, but we do know that he's kidnapping people with powers, doing something to them, and then marking them. He may just be continuing that trend with Sylar (although it's hard to imagine he'd just let him go again).

I think the closed captioning people have a sense of humor. Whenever HRG says something, it comes up as HRG: (insert dialogue here.)
Also, in LOST the other week, when the bearded other said something it came up as "Mr. Friendly: (insert dialogue here.)"
I think they read message boards.

Good vs. Evil

HRG scolded her for not applying herself in that case. I think she's struggling to do what's right even in the face of pressure from him.

I think the show has blurred those lines nicely. While HRG is painted with broad strokes of 'evil', it's been shown that he has feelings. In my universe ruthless doesn't necessarily mean evil.

Too soon to tell. Misguided, at the very least. Can Sylar be controlled outside the influence of skinny chick and Haitian dude? I doubt it. More likely Sylar will kill one or the other or both and escape.
I used to think that Sylar absorbed the 'power' from each hero he killed, but now I'm not so sure.
With regard to the show's mantra, is it possible that *not* saving the cheerleader the first time made HRG fall off the deep end? Maybe he was the one who allowed events to take the destructive turn that destroyed everything. So saving Claire in turn saved HRG from going bad.

Wrong thread, I think. Want to go post that in the right one?

Still nothing to make me thing this will turn into an ARG, but I did learn of something interesting. On the NBC Heroes website, there's aquiz. Before the quiz starts, there is a page from Chandra Suresh's journal.
http://www.nbc.com/Heroes/games/quiz.shtml
At the bottom there is a word written in a language that I have been unable to crack. To the best of my learning, it is from a language known as Devanagari. There is also some sort of drawing next to the word, though I'm not sure what it is of.
I've been trying to crack it for about 24 hours now, and I remembered this thread. Just thought I'd post it here on the chance that someone here will have better luck with cracking it that I did.
Also, here's a picture of just the word.

That's a step in the right direction, good work!

With a Syllabic Alphabetic, you're not trying to "crack" it like a simple substitution code, you'll have to sound out each "letter" as a whole syllable of sound. Of course, if what you end up doesn't sound like a word or phrase in English, you're probably going to need a native speaker or a good dictionary to make the translation.
(unfortunately, the more i look into it now, I can't seem to match up your sample to that phoentics page. Perhaps this is really another language or script, in a related family?)
