Tried entering the answer to the sum (2147483647 - 37447376 = 2110036271)

Tried it as a Hexadecimal subtraction as well (211003C2D1)

Tried SQL injections, tried remote getting the time.php page it redirects to...

The first number is the highest signed integer that can be reached with 32 bits...

The second number seems to be nothing important...

And that's all I've got so far.

Why did he chose this number?
2147483647

It has a history for being weird.

I wish I had paid attention in Math class.

Confused

I can't think of anything in C++ to help with this one..

I think that number would be too coincidential to be a proper in-game phone number.

It's also a Mersenne Prime Number

The other string of numbers still refuses to yield any answers Confused

It seems that xsd:long values > 2147483647 are not represented

PHP doesnt understand integers higher than it, but I dont see what that tells us except that its a PHP form, which we already know..

That's because PHP uses 32 bits to store it's integers. It's not just a PHP thing, most programming/coding languages store long integers as 32 bits.

Yeah. Although I seem to remember in an old version of visual basic, if I used integer it used short (int16) only going from −32,768 to +32,767 before I had to use double, or whole. But yeah I know Smile

So is the puzzle trying to get past the web page with nothing but the box on it? The box that looks like it needs a password?

There's a bit more to the page than the textbox Wink

But yes, we need the password!

This is a puzzle from the game DC itself yeah?? So is there anything in that game that could relate to the numbers, or ways to work out such codes? I'm just having a look at it for fun, am not actually playing DC.

All I see is the text box and the copyright notice at the bottom. The rest of teh page is blank. Am I missing something?
