I would definitely be interested in taking part in this.
I am finally coming off a very busy period at work and am starting to get back involved - and have noticed we appear to have stagnated a little.
With timezones, the best times for us Timezone gifted is Friday or Saturday US time, as Sunday most times are either very late our Sunday or well into Monday work time.

Good job on the agenda, Rose. Is it worth adding in 'Eclipse' as another card? I only ask just as it has numbers on it, that cube on it, but no other meta information.
Also, would it be worth even considering 2 chats - for different timezones? Depending on the number of people involved, this might make it easier to manage/keep relatively short, + could give extra chances to spark off new ideas, + might be easier to get to for some.

I feel that card 220 Precision should be added to the list as well, some people aren't seeing the random image in the bottom left corner that you can see under the right angle of light.

Group chat times -SUGGESTIONS NOT SET IN STONE November 27th at 7pm and December 2nd at 4pm Yes I can add cards to the list. I think it is better to be overinclusive and rule something out as not a puzzle later than it is too miss something.
As for time and date: the most inclusive time would be 4PM EST which means probably a weekend but I can't do this weekend because I am away. I would love to take over my sister's computer and do this chat but I think my family will object.
So maybe we should do two of them. The idea is that between the two chats we can cover the world
This is my suggestion:
7pm EST Tuesday November 27th in #syzygy (a week from today)
4pm EST Saturday December 2nd in #syzygy

I like this idea a lot. I've only recently delved into PPC, but you seem like a great lot to work with.
I know that when I started getting into the cards at first, things went so much smoother with a friend or two there to throw wild ideas around with. And as good as these forums appear to be for discussion, it's not nearly the same as live discourse.
I would be available anytime between Friday 23:00 GMT, and Monday 06:00 GMT. And as often as possible.

I've been going through all the cards to see whether there might be something we've missed. I've been working from a design point of view - taking out all the design elements that relate to the card answer and all the bits that seem to be just background detail and seeing if there was anything left over. I've come up with a short list of queries – they might just be random design details or they might be clues – but I thought it was worth sharing with you all prior to the IRC chat just in case they spark off any ideas.
In addition to all the items listed by Rose on the first page of this thread, these other bits stood out to me:
#065 Going Underground – the wallet – this could well just a design element but I found it odd that all the pieces of underground map were pictured as found in a lost/discarded wallet. What sort of person carries round little sections of map? It looks like there should be a back story there but there's no mention of any context to the wallet on the card. If you compare it to #038 Heist, which is a similar puzzle, it's not difficult to include a bit of back story or context on a card so why not on this one?
#070 Dissolution – Garnet says '[the numbers] might be of interest to you', which seems a rather pointed comment. Why not just ask 'What do the numbers say?' Could it be that the answer to this card has a deeper meaning? It's worth noting that one of the Library of Babel pages is also called Dissolution.
#079 Strange Loops – there's a string of numbers on what looks like a prototype puzzle card on the desk. Again, it might just be a random design element but, for the record, the numbers are 6278457622458.
#094 Prime Rhyme Crime – the signpost with a gemstone on it and the words 'Casle Castle' on it despite the fact that it actually points away from the castle – could it be related to the gemstones on #156.
#189 Multithreaded – the orange dots numbering from 1-6 – they don't actually bear any relation or make any difference to the solve for the card so why are they there?
#239 Persian – it's the other Joker (2nd to Secret Location) and has a strange pattern of dripmarks superimposed on to the background photo. Some people have speculated that they're raindrops on a window but, if you look at the pattern of the splatter, then they've clearly been made by being dropped on to a horizontal surface.
While we're still at the planning stage I'm wondering whether it might be worth setting up another discussion for the Library of Babel pages. Judging from the comments made by GuyP – see this thread for details – there might be more answers or clues there that we also need to find.

Echidna -
Thanks for those additions, I have wondered about some of those card myself.
I can add the libraryofbabel pages to the agenda.
As part of the planning, we can figure out what we want to talk about first. I think it is good to quickly review the basic stuff about the puzzles. After that, I don't care what we focus on first.
As I said, the more we go through the puzzles, the more bits and pieces we find, I think we will need a series of chats to cover everything. I'm looking forward to them.
Also, any comments about the preferred time or dates, please just post them. The idea is to include as many people as possible .

Yes they do, they show you the order to go through the notches.

Well, my friend and I got first and second solve on this without making use of the orange dots. Personally, I don't think it really matters which order you go through the notches, the length of the thread will still be roughly the same. Therefore, to my mind, the orange dots are superfluous to solving the puzzle. This doesn't mean that they necessarily have any wider significance to finding the cube or anything else. The orange dots could well just be a random design element.
The purpose of my list was actually to highlight some of the extra design elements that I'd noticed in order to promote discussion of the cards. I'm not saying that any of them definitely have a deeper meaning but I do think that we need to consider all the cards in our discussion rather than just the obvious Wave 4 meta-puzzles. At this stage in our search we seem to have come to a bit of an impasse and, as Rose said, it's better to be over-inclusive than to just dismiss ideas out of hand.

Good points. I just felt that they were directly related to the card puzzle in a way that most of the meta puzzles we are looking at aren't.

Hiya Mark, how's it going?
So do we have a date for this chat yet?

chat dates and times I'm still on for the following two days and times for chats:
1. TOMORROW: Tuesday November 27th at 7pm EST in #syzygy
2. THIS WEEKEND: Saturday Dec. 2nd at 4pm EST in #syzygy
I am happy to add other dates and times and we will post transcripts of the chats afterwards. PLEASE SUGGEST other times if these don't work for you. I am horrible at time zones, which is why I am leaving it up to each person to figure out their time for the chat.
As I have said a few times, I think we will need more than one or two chats to cover this. We can make it a regular chat if it is helpful and people want it.

Good plan, rose. I plan to attend, although I confess I may have little to contribute. But gotta start somewhere.

In GMT, I make those out to be (using Handy timezone converter )...
1. Midnight tonight, as Wednesday kicks in.
2. 9pm GMT on Saturday.
I might make it along tonight for a little while (can't stay up too late), and I'm not sure what plans I have this weekend yet
