An elfs and well know lurker's two cents...

There can be a number of reasons why a player might seem to be a lurker rather than one of leading edge type, for me this is generally timezone difference and work commitments.

A lot of the adventure happens within the hours I cannot actively play, and if information is made "privileged info" to only those who are leading the quest, then it can make life hard for those who are following along a number of hours later trying to solve the same problems on at a later time.

djsampson: I dont see it as 'pretty ballsy' to to expect a game to be designed in such a way that allows other besides the leading edge to be included. I also consider it good for the ARG community if information and support are spread around.

If only the handful of player that can be in the leading edge of a game get to play then that could lead to less players for a game, which could lead to less incentive for companies to support / create top line games.

I guess I should go back to lurking and stop complaining or I might appear
to be to 'ballsy'

regards Greyelf.

I love all of you guys, I really think it s great to have a forum were we can express our thoughts and feelings freely. You know we are all right in the aspect that we believe that what we believe is right.

I think we all agree that it was the game design that pit characters against characters, even if they say that that's not what they wanted to happened. If not IG it has spurred a lot of debate OOG.

I think the hardest part about debating on forums is. One its written and saved on the forum ( so there is no, "I didn't say that"). And two its a lot harder for some people (myself included) to express there feeling on an issue as easily on paper, rather than in person.

One thing I love about the debates on UF, is you go back and see everyone post in reference to yours and you can ether argue it until it dies. Or realize that other people have different opinions than you do. That I think is the greatest thing about an online community. Very Happy Smile Laughing Rolling Eyes Wink

I'm posting this as a belated solution to WolfHawk's login problems with hackthefeed and because I didn't see this elsewhere...

If you forgot to bookmark the login page for hackthefeed, you can find it
here.

It's still showing your psychtest score, though, so no new news.

New Foo blogpost talks about "interference" in the feed and asks us to check our corporate accounts if we have them.

I started one green, one prestige, one credit.
It's gone up by one prestige, so SOMETHING changed. Source looked the same, though.

Don't know if we should start another thread tracking changes or just do it here.

Thanks notgordian. I went back and logged in. It seems I have 2 prestige now. I can't tell anything about the green bar as far as "how many greens(?) bars(?) spaces(?) I have. It doesn't look all that different though. I still only have 1 credit.
