Hi AngBa!

Long time no see! I'm glad you were just busy with Thanksgiving. One thing Aunt Anna would appreciate is attention to family. I'm also glad you're back with these sides of the family after your holiday!

Nope - it's never too late! In fact, those other families will want your family to keep on keeping on in order to actually be able to access the fountain of truth in St. Augustine.

Lottery Numbers - Yep!
(Legend 1) - Yep! (Williams - Freemont already sent it in)

Your family is almost all caught up with the Garcias and the Ravelos. All that you're missing are Lore 3 and Legend 2.
Lore 3 - http://www.lawngamesforlife.com/Lore/3/ghost_ship.html
Legend 2 - http://www.lawngamesforlife.com/Legend/rosamaria_leon.html

Ok other Williams/Fremonts out there - Help a sista out!!!

Just read this thread??? It tells you how to get the answers for both of those Cool

Legend 2 is a bit tricky, but we all managed it with Rogi's help in this thread Smile

Sent you a pm about lore 3...you can see the letters, just write em down properly Smile

Good luck!

In case you were all wondering about the fate of the Burden to Bring pieces...
I'm keeping them close to the vest at the moment as:
1) They are in a "Ravelo" folder as opposed to a common folder like the Where When pieces
2)I'm not sure where this game is going from a collaboration vs: competition standpoint.
3) They may be good bargaining chips, later.

It is my wont to share, but it seems the game is designed with a certain granularity that needs to be explored some more.

The pieces are images we've seen before with very slight changes. (Resizing of one and a non-descript overlay on the other.)

If sharing them is an obvious necessity to move forward at some point, I'll surely do so.

Garcias... I'm catching up! I think I'm but a point behind you.

A point? Should be like 10 or so Razz

The burden to bring are all the same mate. It's images of the family with overlayed image on them which builds with the more we get.

We definitely been getting the same images, because they show the family member that the legend trial was about, so theres no need to keep them secret or anything, just like the where-when pieces (we all get the same ones). The only thing worth keeping secret are the answers because everyone should work them out themselves (with hints if needed).

It only matters further down the line, if certain families havnt worked out certain legend trials and are therefore missing pictures, but I doubt they'd be missing enough to mean they couldnt still be in the game.

I've read back thru the thread and (trout me if I've missed it) but what was the final consensus on sharing the challenge pieces?

The challenge pieces are different, they are the sections of the family tree. The first one was already posted in this thread, so I guess no one cares who sees it.

The only thing people havnt shared yet are the burden to bring pictures, but they are all the same so its not like theres a need to not show them (or a need to show them for that matter because we all have the same ones).

Well, I just received 2 Challenge Pieces, don't think I've received a Burden to Bring pic - or if I have, don't know where to get them...

Not that I'll be able to make the trek to St. Augustine -

So everyone's getting the links to the metapuzzle pieces, now (If they submit an answer)?
Not just the first family member for the Where When or first team for Burden to Bring?

Nope we all get them. The same as we all get the where-when bits. We get a login and password, but the un is just the family name, and the password is the same.

I thought we all knew that? Cool

Thats why teams are slightly irrelevant until the last day basically, it doesnt matter if we all share the stuff, but its not fun if we are just told the answers.

Thats why its good the way we are doing it at the moment, we all get a trial and try to solve it first to get the points, then we help the others out with hints and clues etc so they eventually all catch up. I suppose if you were going to be secretive about something it would be the burden to bring and where when pieces, but seeing as we all get the same ones it doesnt really matter...just maybe it will in the last few days.

I may be going crazy, but I seem to remember a lot of bad feelings around people not getting the Where When piece their fellow team member collected and unfairness around the first Burden to Bring piece.
I also had a dream where the site said the pieces were to be delivered to either the first team member or team depending on the trial type. It must have been a dream 'cause it doesn't read that way, now.

No that was when I had given in an answer, and yet we didnt get the points for it, or the link for it...It wasnt an annoyance about not seeing the challenge piece (because it was put on this thread) but the fact we seemed to be overlooked...As it turned out Taylor accidentally gave a family two sets of points, instead of one set of points to my family (it all got sorted).

As for the other stuff about bringing the pieces to the meeting place I'm not sure, as far as I can tell the where-when gives co-ordinates or clues as to where to meet, and we probably have to of put the burden-bring pictures together and printed it off or something...or possibly it makes up a map.

We will have to wait and see Smile

Lore 4 is up and I'm clueless. I don't do well with rebi (Is that the plural for rebus?)
Dragon/griffon/pheonix/wyvern?
Heart/stomach?
Cat food/tuna?
Ballet/slippers/toe(shoes)?
cereal/bowl?
Pea/lime?
Ark?
No clue on the purple thing in the lower right.

Hmm very strange. That "heart" seems to be a bird to me Wink

As for the new location trial: http://www.lawngamesforlife.com/Location/3/about_gold.html

Looks like we need pictures of the information kiosks at Mesquite Mine on the CA-78 road.

Different information sheets are needed to be photographed for each family, but I doubt each family will have someone in cali who can go. Probably best to find someone who can, and take pictures of everything, then we will send in our relevant pictures to Taylor.

I mean the purple thing with the white over it. It's a bird. A finch or something.

As for the mythical beast its got to be a Phoenix...its coming out of what appears to be flames.

Incidentally, its quite strange but the other night I heard a noise downstairs so I went to investigate...For protection I picked up our bronze Bast statue we have next to the door, and apart from that I've never even noticed the thing, or even that we had one...

Oh and no I didnt kill any burglars, it was nothing Razz
