I missed out on the phone call (what with living in Australia and all), but I'd like to say that transition noise is definitely a nod to the matrix "going-into-the-phone" noise.

This is getting wild again! Very Happy

I listened to the message closer this time, and i am sure that it is definitely clearer this time around. This is what I got out of the message:

Woman1: Marcus, this message is being left for you at 5:39AM Friday Morning.

Woman 2(foreign accent): I have been seeing people, Aqua Police.

Man1: No, I have no idea where the Neburabundranker came from. Nor a commence object a security anglems/emblems and can't� Static

Computer Voice (messed up man's voice?)

Woman3: Zeus what do you think you're doing?

Woman 4(maybe same as Woman 1): Why are you so this erotic?

Woman5: Everything is A OK and under control

Some of the words I kind of just tried to put letters to the sounds, I am not sure on a quite a few words a lot just doesn't make sense so it probably isn't right. But what about that word Neburabundranker, Starts and ends like Nebuchadnezzar. I am open for any suggested changes. Has anyone tried to figure out what that computer/deep man's voice is saying? And I do have to agree with The Matrix "enter phone" sound. All I know is that there is a lot of crazy stuff going on right now, it is a lot to take in. Hey, maybe the PM's finally saw this website with so many offtopic posts and decided to stop them for us.
And if someone already deciphered all of this, point me in the direction of the right post please.

I hate to say this. But it sounds like the garbled voice in the message, from 0:25-0:27 is saying "leave a message, and I'll try to get back [to you]"

By the way, while we're on the subject. I threw the wave file through various spectral waveform viewers, reversed it, stretched it, pitch-shifted it, band eq'ed the heck out of it, and didn't find much of anything.

The only thing that's even remotely interesting is that when you stretch the section roughly from 0:23 - 0:33 (in the section where the garbled voice is) by around 250%, the background starts to sound a little more musical, almost like (major spec) something by Wongmo.

Using my expert audio knowledge... :-)

I've done some filtering, noise removal, and some demodulating of various sections.

Some notes:

In 1st_filt, he says something like "da dah da da detected". Unfortunately, the modulation frequency cut into the audio content, so this is as clean as I can get it.

In 2nd_filt, he says "I'm away from my desk. Leave a message and I'll try to get back when I can." The modulation frequency was even worse, but by comparing this with Ormond's actual voicemail, it's a perfect fit.

In airlocks_filt, this is just a cleaned up version. Nothing new I can hear.

In aok_filt, the voice definitely says "Be assured Mr. Ormond, everything is a-ok and under control." (There was some question as to the name before). Since we know Kat uses "a-ok", it seems obvious that this is Kat speaking to Ormond at some point.

In greek_filt, the voice definitely is speeking Greek. Someone care to translate? Perhaps this person is asking something, to which the guy talking about the airlocks is replying...

Hope this clears some stuff up!

Ya know, I have been thinking, why is this phone call on kat's metadex? I don't think anyone has addressed this. I mean, did she get the phone call cause she works at Metacortex and is just now putting it up? And she doesn't even put anything about it in her notes! It doesn't make any sense. Why would she put this file in here? She isn't the one obsessed with anomalies.
