- started with an email from Mr Alan Johnson
So I wanted to cheer up Mr. AJ with some tidbit of news:

do not have the details because most of Mr. Trumbo's file left Otis
Worldwide with Mister Timothy Mann, but I did discover one tidbit that was
left behind. I am not positive, but it could be a lead to the location
of this so-called Spoocheeeee piece five. There was an empty folder
left behind in Mr. Dalton Trumbo's file. The empty folder is titled
"Patricia McCormack = Rhoda Penmark (a story never told - 5th draft is the key)". I hope this can help the Sammeeeees get back to the business of finding piece five. Cheers to the Sammeeeees! (for now)Wink

The original history of Beverly Hills here reminds us that this was a place called The Gathering of the Waters by the native indians (that is a Tongva praying at the top of the fountain). The Spanish name was El Rancho Rodeo de las Aguas

 		The alt text for the fountain picture is "astorynevertold." Obviously, this goes back to the folder that AJ found which said: "(a story never told - 5th draft is the key)".

What it all means, no idea...

EDIT: possible spec is that the 'story' and the '5th draft' come from some screenplay that Trumbo wrote.

 		I wrote to Patricia/Cathy earlier today and asked if she knew anything about a Ranch Dalton Trumbo might have.

Vig w/ the key quaoar: picture this - it was early morning -- very early. it was just me and the birds singing. it seemed i was the only man alive in beverly hills. i walked my usual morning route. in every way it was just another day. as i came to the tongva fountain, known to many as the "electric fountain", i heard a whisper. i turned to see if someone was there. nobody. i was completely alone. then the whisper came again. it was coming from the fountain. the words were soft and far away but i could make out the following words: "ava-aha. follow the tongva trail of tears. follow the tongva trail of tears and tell the story."

i stood there stunned. a fountain spoke to me? i looked around again. i was completely alone. i stepped closer to the fountain and called out, "what's your story?"

the fountain whispered back, "follow the trail and the story will tell itself to you."

i stood there a moment more and then as i turned to my right, i saw a glowing path in front of me. the tongva creation diety, quaoar stepped out from behind the fountain. he danced down the path in front of me. he spoke looked me in the eye and whispered, "this way. look for the marked tree. it will take you to the next sacred place, where you will learn more of our trail of tears." and then he disappeared. it was like magic.

i walked down the glowing path before me and the beverly hills we know today slipped away. i was somehow transported back in time. it was the place of the gathering of the waters. a lush paradise surrounded me. each step seemed to take me further back in time. it was amazing. and then i spotted it, the marked tree. i read the letters. i realized if i put them together, they would take me to the next sacred place.

I think it is interesting to point out that two of the streets in that image that are running northwest from the park are Roxbury and Bedford, which were part of the puzzle trail from enaxor's package from Peeps.

 		In case the trail of tears is leading us to Piece #5, this bit was in an email from Cathy (she is at Trumbo's house after her "escape" from Mr Alan Johnson).

There is no blog nor blogspot nor YouTube for "thesafeplace" that is ingame that I could find today.

Clues (so far as I can tell):
- follow the tongva trail of tears and tell the story
- look for the marked tree. it will take you to the next sacred place
- i spotted it, the marked tree. i read the letters. i realized if i put them together, they would take me to the next sacred place
- from the video: LA (or LR) and MR+BG (which tree are we suppose to use?).
- why did Mildred show us the churches? Why the Angels?

was shooting this I received no messages from "spirits" only the
sound of this song in my mind. It would not leave me. So, I
included it in the background for you.

Please let me know if you need more. I am here for you. Can you
also let the Sammeeeees know that I will post Trinket's folder
today? I must attend to a friend this morning but I will put it up
soon.

In some convoluted way, Trumbo would find it appropriate to have angels look over it.

 		Sorry for the double post. I sent an email to Trumbo this morning concerning the marked trees. The tree we want has 6 MR + BG.
