This is the real reason Mr. Johnson wants me back. The reason he came to you for help was not to get me but to get this snake. Without the ceramic snake he is very vulnerable.

I know I must send the snake to the Sammeeeee keeper of the piece (so we can destroy Spoocheeeee forever), but I am frightened of what will happen to me without it. Without it I have nothing over Mr. Alan Johnson. What if Mr. Johnson discovers where the keeper is located? Keeping this has been a way of preventing all the power to be available to anyone until our friends are free. I'm also afraid I will never be free. I will never have my garden. I will never be an ordinary man. I know I sound selfish and I am sorry.

Mildred Harnack contacted me about the snake the night before last night. She found a document in Trinket's apartment about the snake and about how I stole it from Spoocheeeee. Seems like Trinket has known for a long time that I have the snake. Trinket has never told the others. I don't know why she hasn't but there it is. Mildred said she must soon share the document with the Sammeeeees but thought it might be better if I handled it, rather than having you and your fellow Sammeeeees read it in Trinket's document. I am afraid that the Sammeeeees will feel differently about me when they know I've withheld this information. I care very deeply about all my Sammeeeee friends. It would crush me to lose them. What should I do? What do you think they will do once they find out?

Thank you for listening to me. I hope all is well with you, Sallyyyyy. I'm sorry to put this on your plate but you and I have become good friends. And I need a friend's advice.

Initially I thought the answer was "serpent" but it was "snake". As this was so out of the blue, I didn't think to include it when posting her email. Wow - seems it was very relevent since the email dealt with the Pink Folder found in Trinket's apartment

So I thought it was kind of skeevy for Peeps to have been holding out on us all this time, so I wrote him and told him so:

I am writing to you because of the surprising news that I learned today from the Sammeeeees. I found out that you have been in possession all along of a heretofore unknown central piece of the Spoocheeeee artifact, and that you have kept this hidden from everyone ever since you took it from Mr. Alan Johnson. I am disappointed in you, Peeps. This causes me to rethink everything that I have been doing to try to help you. Now I wonder why you were sending these poor Sammeeeees out on dangerous missions to retrieve the other pieces to this artifact. You say that you want to end the power of Spoocheeeee once and for all by destroying the artifact, but how can we be sure that this is your aim? Perhaps you want to reassemble the piece for yourself and take the power? How do we even know that there is an actual Keeper of the Pieces? Maybe you are currently in possession of ALL but the 5th and final piece of this disc? I am also disappointed because you have been in a position all along to end the confinement and suffering of "the Five." Do I have to remind you that these are the 5 individuals who put themselves in harms way to help you?? Now, when I read their blogs in which they discuss the problems in their lives and how good they felt by helping you, everything is shadowed by the fact that you were only giving them a part of the picture. I wonder how they would feel, knowing what the rest of the Sammeeeees now know, what I know? I am still in contact with Mr. Alan Johnson, and I happen to know that he is going to want to bargain with the Sammeeeees and with you about the fate of "the Five" and the pieces of the Spoocheeeee artifact. His idea was to have you go to him as collateral to ensure the cooperation of the Sammeeeees in the delivery of the pieces in exchange for the release of "the Five." I would advise you to seriously consider your actions in all of these events and your responsibilities toward those who put their faith in you when you consider his offer. You can still do the right thing, Peeps. Not everyone gets that chance.

Could I have one day of freedom before I go? I should like just one day to live like an ordinary man. Thank you, Dante, for your honesty. You have been a dear friend to me. So, we suggest that Peeps hid the snake before he went back to Mr AJ? He's still going to be pissed when he finds out Peeps doesn't have it with him after the exhange.

You knew I was going to protest. I can just see what is possible and I hope to find a way to get a happy resolution of the whole situation.

Trinket probably meant well.....

... I wonder what the date is on these last few letters. Looks more and more like she was the leak that lead to the kidnapping (eeek, and Spoocheeeee jackals had been in Higg's apartment - I wonder if he ever knew that)

ick, the NASTY side of Mr AJ rears it's ugly head in a couple of those threats. We still don't know if he every did have Tutu or was just pretending to in order to get Trinket to help.....he may have just used her missing sister as a way to gain control (wasn't her sister missing for quite a while before Peeps escaped Spoocheeeee).

.....so the "Tutu" blog update (and MySpace) may or may not be her sister, may or may not been under Spoocheeeee control when writing to us..... and whomever it was may have been a Spoocheeeee jackal (like the one that impersonated Betty at the beach) and lying to us.

Trinket may have had the best of intentions, but she really should have shared this information. I hope she comes clean to the Five.

As long as Mr AJ *doesn't* know Peeps no longer has the snake, and Trumbo *doesn't* know about the snake..... and if this exchange of people doesn't occur until the keeper has all the pieces and can do the ceremony, we may be still able to save Peeps.

As seen in the A.J. email thread, I passed on Peeps' request for one final day of freedom and received A.J.'s concerns about why Peeps wanted to do this. I passed those on to Peeps:

I passed along your offer to Mr. Alan Johnson, who is intrigued but suspicious. Before he accepts, he wants to know exactly what you will do on your one day of freedom. He wants to make sure that you aren't going to recruit more Sammeeeees or proclaim the truth of Spoocheeeee or anything like that. Let me know what I should tell him.
