[UPDATE] Dalton Trumbo is DEAD
- was it a heart attack?

Does he have any appointments or meetings with any of his buddies scheduled for tonight? If not, you have hours, plenty of time. Is there anyone else in the house? You can put a "Do Not Disturb" sign on his door. That should buy you some more time.

Look around his place for what ever you can find that we might need. He hid that fifth place in "the safe place". Are there any wall or other types safes in the home? We sent Mildred to find a key in Beverly Hills that may be important. Can you call her directly? I'm not sure if she can get into Trumbo's house, though.

If you can't get ahold of any White Roses, maybe you can call Mr Alan Johnson? He adores you and you were able to leave on good terms, right? Carefully remove all traces of your presence in that room (i.e. fingerprints, toiletries, clothing).

I'm here and will keep an eye on my email box. I'm in touch with other Sammeeeees right now and they are throwing out ideas.

Okay, what do you think about this idea!? I pretend he's alive but that we're very much enjoying "dancing" right now and keep the Commie thug bodyguards away! I will prop him up in bed and keep his glasses on him so that he appears to be okay for now! This can at least buy us tonight! I will search everything and everywhere for anything that might be associated with this story of the Tongva's and or "the safe place" and then in the morning I will somehow get out of here!

What do you and the Sammeeeees think!?

I like the idea of keeping the goons thinking Trumbo is "busy". But, instead of propping him up, set him as sleeping with the "Do Not Disturb" so you can leave the room and search the rest of the house.

You need to let us know if you find anything - we have to have that piece before our meeting with Mr AJ tomorrow.

Are you going to be okay in the same room as a dead body? Good thing is he won't start to smell for at least a day (except for the release of body fluids that occurs with death).

I will tear this place apart. I will do my best to find
the piece by the time of your meeting. But why do you need
it by then? Alan told me he's going to address you all and
tell you his plan. I don't think he expects a response or
for anything to happen immediately. Unless he's told you
something that I don't know about yet. He's been writing
this speech for the last week. I may be wrong but I think
you have a couple more days to find the piece (as far as
Alan's concerned). Our biggest problem is going to be
keeping anyone from knowing Dalton's dead until we find
piece five.

Okay. I'm off on my search! I'll write soon.

Jean Moulin took Dalton's laptop to a friend to have it
worked on. They hope to get information from it.

Just to keep you up to date, a few minutes after 8 am this
morning, the white roses pulled up to Dalton Trumbo's house
in a Marmalade catering van. Jean Moulin and Nedd Ludd and
Peeps (yes they pulled Peeps in on this one at the last
minute) walked right by the guards at the front door with
covered food trays in their arms. Once inside, they managed
to take down Dalton's personal bodyguards. They knocked on
the bedroom door and called out my name. I allowed them to
enter. Jean Moulin, Nedd Ludd, Peeps, and I opened the
front door and cleared our path. We took Dalton Trumbo's
body with us and left a note indicating that he and Mame
Dennis have been kidnapped. This was a difficult rescue and
many Spoocheeeee Jackals (who had pledged to follow Dalton)
were taken down, but it was necessary. I know this action
may bother some of the Sammeeeees. You are such a kind and
caring group of people. But remember our goal is to find
piece five. Without it, we can never save the five or the
world. Every move we make at this point is life or death.
We must remind ourselves that this is a war with
Spoocheeeee for this disc. The "kidnapping" will keep Alan
from believing he can swoop in and find piece five for
himself. (We hope.)

To be honest, I am happy to know this part of me is gone forever. I don't think the white roses will be asking for my help any time soon. Please take care, Dashcat. I promise to not do anything rash. Thank you for being my friend.
