i turned around and made my way back toward the fountain. before i reached the fountain, i heard singing coming from a grove. i spotted the tree of tears! as i approached the tree of tears, quaoar seem to appear from nowhere again. quaoar danced around the tree before me and told me the following, "each leaf on this tree represents the tears shed by the tongva for this young woman who was now gone forever and the land that was slipping away. the sadness of the tongva did not worry the settlers. they built more large houses and more roads. they then set forth to bring their god to the tongvas. bedford and mary grant hosted many missionaries. the missionaries loved the place of the gathering waters and decided this would be a place forever to worship their god. they proclaimed it to be the land of their god and told the settlers to build their god a castle on the very sacred tongva place called the circle of worship. bedford grant and a man called shepherd lewis (known to his people as good shepherd) were in charge of the project. they cast their evil eyes on the strong tongva men. many tongva men were stolen and enslaved to build this castle. many tongva died to build this castle. and many more tears were shed. if you look up and into the tree of tears, you will see the top of this castle. go beyond the steps of the bedford shepherd castle and you will see a man holding a lamb. here you will be greeted by the spirits of the slaves. they will take you to the next sacred place. it is called the road for the weary."

Unfortunately, I don't have that kind of software on this computer (to make screen caps). I'm sorry that I wasn't able to give you a description. I will not make that mistake again.

Oh, don't worry darling. The "Nevermind" was because I found the next page without having to see the video and when I posted the page, I added the "Nevermind". Anyone else could have jumped in as well.

Turns out the constant use of the Good Shephard was the key. I'm just so glad you posted it was up (for those of us stuck at work and no access to chat or our emails for the updates).

You've been a great part of the team!

Anyone sending info to Mildred's team to go for a walk along the side of the church? Cause I can't get any blogspot for codeoflife.

I don't know if it will do any good, since I have not had contact with her before, but I emailed Mildred (through hush mail) with the last set of instructions. Let's hope Smile

[EMAIL] from Betty, Mildred, and Keely.
Shooting (video) around the church

I also sent the info to Mildred. Betty answered with this:
Quote:
keely and mildred have shot the alleyway behind the church. i will
post soon! they've gone back and are shooting everything they can
around the church, just so we have a reference or need it later.
it'll be dark here in like an hour or so.

I cant get to chat, so im not sure if this has been discussed.
But since today is the day we are supposed to meet with Mr Alan Johnson, what if this is his way of trapping some of the white roses?
By us sending them on this scavenger hunt of sorts?

Is this Mr AJ's trail, or is it Dalton's? The pictures all link back to dalton's flickr. And his screenplay, though.

definitely good idea to remind them all to be very careful.

Key: Codeoflife

Quote:
i slowly made my way down the sacred road for the weary. it seemed there was no code of life anywhere. i walked back and forth and back and forth, until i spotted a series of numbers and one letter on a pole. the numbers were 4379406 with an e on the end. i read it aloud, "4379406 with an e on the end". from behind the pole stepped the spirit of nocuma. nocuma smiled at me and said, "this is the code of life". i smiled back and asked, "what does that mean?" nocuma nodded knowingly and said, "this number was placed here by the ancients. it is a reminder to the tongva people to defend the land. one year and five days after the castle of bedford and shepherd was complete, i came to visit my tongva people. the tongva were weary and had begun to lose all hope. i did not console my people. i walked them to this ancient pole and pointed to our code. i scolded them for not defending the land against the settlers and missionaries! i then gathered what remained of this once strong tribe and led them to a place just west of the the bedford and shepherd castle. we created a circle around the sacred spring of courage. my people and i held hands and vowed to seek revenge and to save the land." nocuma then stopped and looked me in the eye and said, "this would make a great scene in a movie, if you also included a fire around the sacred spring of courage." i smiled and agreed. nocuma looked me in the eye again and said, "to learn of the great and final battle, you must go now to the safe place. it is not far now that you have the code of life. finish the road of the weary. the end is 43 steps away. and then take your first left and walk 79 steps to the trees. and then turn right and find the sign of rules. it is not far. when you find the sign of the rules, you must read the last line. it will take you to the end of your journey."
