 		He's got a Microsoft Passport, right? (Basically, it was my MSN messenger login, and some time back I tied it to Bungie, as well, so that the bungie.net logo will appear with my name in Halo 2 game lobbies).

It might be choking on the sign-in there, for some reason. But I tried at like, 6AM Central time a day or two ago, and got in.

 		If you have Xbox Live you have passport, right? I think his issue is just accessing the site- maybe using an early time in the morning will solve the problem.

About the commercial:

Is he 17? One of the stipulations is that you have to be at least 17 years of age (that's why I couldn't sign my sister up for it). Also if he already has a Microsoft passport thing and has his Gamertag linked to it try not being signed in and then it'll prompt you to sign in. I went to sign up for it and it said you must be signed in to complete this registration, and the button said sign out, so I was stuck in a loop of clicking sign out and it saying you must be signed in…

Also, to just be doublely sure you got the forum submitted successfully go to back to the forum you filled out when you're signed in and all the fields will be automatically filled in when you get to that page.

Edit: If he signed up for an Xbox Live account on an Xbox 360 then yes he should have had to make a Microsoft Passport. If he signed up for Xbox Live on the original Xbox he has to make one and link his Gamertag to it. Just go to xbox.com and make sure that the Gamertag is linked. Either try to sign in to see if he already has one or register right there for one.

 		Hi everyone!

Just thought I'd pop in since all this Halo3 beta stuff is going around. If this doesn't motivate me to get an Xbox 360 now I don't know what will.

I did want to wait awhile to possibly get a price reduction before halo3 came out but I have to take the chance at getting into the beta. So hopefully I'll work out a plan to geta 360 and come play online a bit more again.

 		Hmm. When the site was getting hammered I loaded a beta application that asked for my 360's S/N. Sending that form failed because of the server load and the form I eventually sent did not ask for it. Hopefully that is not a bad sign for my beta chances.

Anyone else get asked for a serial number?

In the newest story posted on Bungie's homepage here:

Bungie talks about the Warthog. If you download the Quicktime movie posted in the article, there is a hidden message. Slowly slide the warthog around in a circle, and bit by bit of a message is shown. When put together it states: X.XX.713 >ghost.713/non-auth/activity ongoing

Several posts on the Bungie forums at first thought it could be decoded into an IP address, but the format doesn't fit. However, it could be a FTP address, or something else useful that could lead to another ARG.

Sigh.. I was holding out on posting this because I'm not sure if it will go anywhere yet.. but you felt the need to post it first, lol.

I discussed it on the IRC with a few members.. the "IP" ends in too high of a member for conventional IP addys.. there is a special type.. which I will explain later, and how to convert it to a 4 number IP address.

Here's an image for those of you that require proof of the "ghost.713" line.. it's a composite of all the degrees of rotation in the 3D Picture.



If you can't already tell, I'm a huge Halo fan.. =)
