 		My thoughts and questions about the conversation
- If Christian isn't the bad guy, then who is? To me, everyone else has a part to play. Carl, Alan, and the ally all have to come together to find the relic. It would be helpful to have Christian along as the inside man due to the time constraints and Alan's present incarceration. Maybe he could spring him.

- Gabriel got upset because I asked him the same question in the last chat that I did this time about the relic. Kudos go to you Russ for realizing the importance of the relic so early. Unfortunately it was too early. Gabriel told me that the relic had no significance in our last chat. This time it has become the focus.

- No password on the desteg? Then why do we still not have it?

- I assume the traitor is the one assisting the demons.

- If we are to look at the source of the matter and not at the way around it. That makes me think of the obvious. Page Source. I've gone over all of them repeatedly. Is there something I missed?

- I have been using separate email accounts and screen names to communicate with the characters. Because of my deteoriating relationship with Christian I established a new alias to talk to him through. I don't have access to that one from work. Can someone ask him about the place where the four paths cross?

 		Like I said before, it seemed to me at the time that the PM was just "going with the flow" and making characters change where needed...originally Carl was with Katy, and now hes with us, and Christian was with Greenview, and now hes with us...To me it just seemed like fickle characters created by the PM who change when/where needed to move the story along/match what we are trying to do...

However, I agree that I cant see who else it could be. Carl is the descendant, so he must be a good guy. The hacker is ally, and the chosen one is Alan, so they must both be good too.

The only other character in the game thats on "our side" is Christian, so you would think he must be the traitor...but then again he helped Steve get the chat with Alan so I really dont know at this point.

...

Hang on...perhaps hes not talking about an in-game character, but actually talking about one of us players? Maybe someone was messaged out of the blue, to help the demons, and has pretended for a while to be helping us when actually they have just been spying on us. I dont quite know how that would help the demons, or make it harder for us, unless they sabotage clue finds somehow. Thinking about it I dont quite think it would work very well, but its certainly a possibility.

 		lol maybe I pretended to decode that barcode and actually gave you a link to a demon chat rather than angel chat. Nah I think the PM is just going in the direction that we move the story. TBH its a good sign, a rigid story loses a lot as the players wont feel like they have any control over the game.

Soooo we are still left with:

a picture to desteg (actually when i chatted with the hacker he actually said that sometimes pics are stegged without a password - could have been a push - although i have tried with no pword and it doesnt work, will try again later with a dif programme)

A traitor to unmask

And a relic to find....

 		I've tried the pic in camoflauge, and jpfind/hide. Jpfind says the picture has not been modified Confused

 		Maybe its not that picture then, at work so cant try any of the others but will have a nosey later. Also need to reread this thread to find out why we thought it was stegged in the first place, could just be we are chasing a white elephant...

 		Gabriel confirmed in my chat that the picture placed on the site was the work of Jariel. So that means that one of these pictures needs to be destegged. The ally also mentioned it to us. It seems as we are being directed to destegging one of them. How humorous would it be if we have just been trying the wrong one this whole time?

I've tested the other photo on the Moyt website. Also nothing. Most of the websites don't even have images. The only ones I can't get to are MySpace and wandersunite board. So I'm stumped again.

 		Ally said to me it looked like a stegged image to him but he couldnt get in...so yeah quite sure it is...but maybe the PM forgot to steg it before putting it on Razz

The original pic is 44.1 KB (45,252 bytes) but the pic from our site is 18.3 KB (18,775 bytes)....

why would a stegged pic be smaller?

Late last night I went over to the Allen household and visited with Katy's mom... bringing Christian's papers along, of course. She got drunker than a skunk in a vat of wine, and of course, yours truly got her to sign on the dotted line!

So, today Christian and I met up in Yippers again, and he's promised to deliver the papers first thing tomorrow morning. If all goes well, he thinks we might have Alan out of there by 12/8!
