hehe
and yeah, Clayfoot, it seems that this 'puzzle trail' will be stretched out likely until Christmas... since we have to wait now for puzzle 3, and it seems that they don't actually update the forum stats live; so far it's only been updated after 5 or 6 people have completed a puzzle level. I think they want to give most people a chance for points by playing a pace-car type role... you get points for being the first few to solve a puzzle level, but it's not a race to the finish line from start to end.

I was talking with Mrs. Claus a little bit ago. Here's what she told me:

Sinter Klaus
Pere Noel
Babbo Natale
Gaghant Baba
Jultomten
San Niklaw
Joulupukki
Deda Mraz
Mikulas
Vader Kersfees
Big Red Boss Man

Do with it what you see fit!

Well, I mean, we chit-chatted a bit, but unless you want to hear about how I'm going to spend my holidays, that's all that's relevant to the puzzle. Confused

And also at 5:10pm eastern, when I got the password for puzzle 2. Now that I'm done, I'm tempted to peek at the password for puzzle 3.

Thanks, mapmaker Smile Just chatted to her myself. I believe she meant "sinter klaas" instead of "sinter klaus" - just for the record Smile well, I have no idea what to do with that. I can think of 3 other names for all of them off the top of my head.

I posted this arg to some friends in another forum...been trying to get them to do an arg with me for ages ...of course they are cursing me for getting them started, and now two of them are doing other args as well.

Before they get the wrong impression, this is not an ARG, it is a puzzle trail. Of course, full ARGs also invoke cursing at times...

I know, but it was a good one to get them to do...Christmassy and all.

One is messing with Eva and the other is doing Deus.

Anyone cracked puzzle 3 yet? I'm guessing...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
we need to say what country they're from?

Dunno what else to do with it.

That seems too easy. It should require more than a single Wikipedia article to get the answer. The puzzle itself should say what form the answer takes, so maybe we just don't have enough information yet.

yeah, I just can't imagine what else to do with them. I did ask if that was all we needed and Mrs Santa said yes, that was everything.

Also, just noticed the blog got updated. Puzzle 4 has been kidnapped, hehe. So we should be patient with responses.
