OK, one of the clues says that at the start:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
You need to hear three ball bearings
My problem is I'm not sure if I'm at this stage or not. Is it *really* obvious when you're this far? And, if I do get past this stage, then mess up the next stage, will I go back to the start, or will I remain at this stage?
Thanks for your help!

There was another clue posted by Sonic Warp that mentions "the dominant theory of the creation of the universe". Now that seems pretty straightforward to me, but the Isis is such a lovely object that I'm worried about scratching it. Can anyone confirm if I really do have to hit it, and if so, roughly how hard? e.g. a drop of a few centimetres? More than that? I've heard reports of the blue rings coming off and that's the last thing I want to happen to mine.
Hmm I had heard that the Isis was supposed to open to give you a clue to the location of real world treasure troves. And to quote the sales pitch "Sadly you can forget about cheating via sledgehammers and power saws; any damage to the Isis will destroy its secret forever."

Yep - it is obvious when you get to *that* stage - it sounds different (one is bigger than the two). Took me a while to discover I was at this stage - as I'd thought I already was and couldn't progress. You have to do the clues in order as it won't open otherwise.
I'm off to have a nice Terry's chocolate orange.................

Nope.. it's just a piece of wood that is supposed to support the bottom inside part of the box.

Don't worry about the glyphs on the box. The only additional clue they hold is the one with the compass. All others only give you a starting point to decipher the clues in the book.

Glyph translations:
ISIS
Rings
Ball
Magnet
ISIS
Maze
Gold

Compass Compass? Ok I have a magnet but dont have a compass - Do I need 1? Im sure I got 3 bearings but have tried turning the Isis in all directions, tried turning the rings, tried turning the plunger. All the time pressing the plunger to see if it only goes in a bit but no luck so far. Getting a bit frustrated with it now.
Please help me past this bit

Re-read the entire thread on here. Look for the messages ixalon replied to and ixalons messages themself. They tell you where north is. Also read clue 1 again...... you will understand.

I'm just curious if anyone here opened one and managed to get to a pyramid in time. I can't afford an Isis but the whole thing just looks so much fun.

Our friend ixalon just got his gold coin within the last week.
8 of the 10 gold coins have been found and over a dozen silver so far (the only reason more silver haven't been claimed is because people are waiting for more gold to be opened up and revealed)
If you are in the UK, get an ISIS from www.sonicwarp.com and join the fun. You still have 4 months of play time.
