As far as that last login: I've made a google spreadsheet so we can keep track of stuff we've tired. I think you might have to have a gmail account to be able to use it, but other than that I've set it so that anyone can edit it.

Great idea! However, for me it's still "view only" (I have gmail/google docs account)...

lisak: feel free to re-publish it; maybe it would work better with this url (I never used google spreadsheets before, and I thought I had figured out how to let everyone edit it, but, apparently, I didn't). As far as stuff that's in it: I only included things I tried *after* I had the spreadsheet, to be certain that I did actually try that word (not just thought of it), that I didn't misspell it, etc.

Just received a message from Alfred on YIM.. says he's offline so cant talk to him. It reads:

32-3-1-4-12 5-18-18-7-10-5-4-1-18 12-7-28-6-3-30

Shocked

N(22)-E(3)-O(7)-V(34)-E(3)-N(22)-U(9)-S(30)

Thats the letter we got IF that is what the word really is.

I was also thinking that the L P from the one login picture might coincide with the 1-11 in the other 1 being L and 11 being P, or vise versa.

I don't think it is. Look at the vowels.

E = 3 O = 7 U = 9

The first letter of the second word has to be a vowel. Therefore 5 either equals A or I

If I = 5, then we have a pattern.

A = 1 E = 3 I = 5 O = 7 U = 9

GOT IT!!!!!

Okay, the vowels have a pattern... A is 1, E is 3, I is 5, O is 7, U is 9. Thanks CrackerJak!

The rest goes like this... Remove the vowels from the alphabet so it reads BCDFGHJKLMNPQRSTVWXYZ. Assign each one a number from 1 to 21. Double that number to get the number for this ciphor.
B-1 - 2
C-2 - 4
D-3 - 6
F-4 - 8
G-5 - 10
H-6 - 12
J-7 - 14
K-8 - 16
L-9 - 18
M-10 - 20
N-11 - 22
P-12 - 24
Q-13 - 26
R-14 - 28
S-15 - 30
T-16 - 32
V-17 - 34
W-18 - 36
X-19 - 38
Y-20 - 30
Z-21 - 32

You then get this:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
TEACH ILLOGICAL HORDES

Another anagram. I am working on it now. Why did I have to get the YIM at 12:30am...sigh...

Hi.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

TEACH ILLOGICAL HORDES

=

GHIRADELLI CHOCOLATES

Notice the misspelling (there should be another R).

I hope to join you guys in playing, despite jumping in kind of late!

No we didn't. Perhaps someone should mention it next time they speak to him. I'll do it next time he's on.

Baffled as to what the answer to the anagram is. The area is a supposed San Francisco landmark, however everything I have read on it have said it is somewhat disappointing. I can't imagine why he would tell us this, anyone have any ideas?
