NEW ONLINE ADVENTURE ? I received a flyer on my car at a local mall in my area. It contained a cool logo and internet address. I am currently working my way through.
experienceit.info
I think it is real, but it might be a local thing ?

is the logo on your flyer the same as the animation at that site, the hand in the white circle? Any chance of scanning it and posting the flyer here?
as for the "game", so far I'm thinking that it points to a website which won't launch until Dec.13th -- or i'm just being too literal with the clues.
I will say that it would be wonderfully refreshing to have a game launch in such a quiet manner. No hooplah (no hip hooray ballyhoo), no "coming soon" pre-publicity, and no up-front registration box. But I can't help thinking that Bioboy is just another shill, and there never really was any flyer.

Well, even at that it still is low key...kind of different...but I agree, it seems that the photo of the Inventors list seems to point us to a website...
http://www.experienceit.info/note.jpg
Looks like he was on his way to meet with Mike if you go by the checkmarks on the other things listed, I'll assume he was going to the store last since milk was on the list and therefore wouldn't want it to spoil...
As for the $18.50, I hope it's not the cost to play...lol...
As for the surfersrus.org scribble, it is a live website...and if you go to forums and click on "General Surfers" there is a letter posted by Mike54 (the same mike in the note no doubt) Here's what is written":

Looks like you followed The Inventor's first steps; good job. Unfortunately, the web master here at Surfersrus has cleared his account? I am not sure why.
I know The Inventor was interested in the philosopher Martin Heidegger. Maybe we should check out his dot com to see if The Inventor has left a clue?
The interesting thing about all of this is that the hand in the circle seen above is listed in the Surfers directory, and if you go to the index list, all the images to that site were uploaded on November 20th with the exception of three files on November 22...so it appears to me that this site is TOTALLY in game but, it might not be I suppose as they have said that the site was recently redesigned, so why then does Mike54 have 12 post and was registered December 2? He doesn't have twelve posts...in fact EVERYONE has 12 post listed with the exception of Condor who has 6...
I think it is an in game site...they beg you to visit their sponsors, but have no link to them...they say all are welcome to post messages, but you have to register and there is no place to register...
In game for sure Dude...
I'm on my way to catch a wave and find out more about Martin Heidegger...
P.S.~ Anybody know how to center images or text on this board? I tried [center][/center] with no luck...anyone know the code?

Went to www.martinheidegger.com and checked out his site....again an in-game site as everything there was also loaded to it on the 20th of November...in the Forums we have good old Mike54 posting the following...

Nice job following the last clues.
I have heard the Inventor say, "He reached for meaning through poetics" when asked about Heidegger. He also has used Heidegger as inspiration for some of his Experience. I know the Inventor often visits Tablerock Brew Pub in Boise. Maybe, he has left a clue with the bartender. Skip the hostess and go directly to the bartender and ask for Maurice.
TIME FOR A DRINK!!!!
Hi-ho, hi-ho...off to Idaho I go!!!!
But not until tonight....lol...I mean, it's only 7 A.M., wouldn't want to be accused of being a lush....

Looks like the right site to me. I haven't yet tried the email, but I do see a phone number to call:
Code:
To talk with someone about your catering needs, please
CALL (208)385-9060
I might try it from the office later.

Yesterday I actually called last nite for the sport of it. Asked who was working as a bartender that night. The girl who answered, Frankie, said she was. I asked if Maurice had been in. She said she didn't know a Maurice. I thanked her and hung up. Didn't have the "feel" of an ARG.
What I also found at the Martin H site in the forums was an email addy for The Inventor. He is listed as admin there on account number 1. His latest post was within the last two weeks. (I thought I read he was missing for two weeks.) Guess I "found" him. Didn't bother emailing.
I just didn't like the vibe of this one. More like a scavenger hunt than any real intellectual challenge. Unless I'm missing something...
So have at it and if there's more to it, maybe I'll be back on this trail.

Stuck in Idaho... Possibly a Simpson's reference to Moe the bartender?
I couldn't find anything at the Table Rock site proper, but maybe this'll spark something...

Kelso, the whois info is not actually located on the surfersrus and martinheidegger sites, but can be found on a number of sites that provide whois lookup tools that will tell you who owns a particular domain.
Check out this tutorial that was compiled by players and is hosted by Unfiction for more info on whois lookup and lots of other hints and tips that will make your ARG life easier.

whois info on tablerock pub I checked the whois for http://www.tablerockbrewpub.com/ , to make sure it wasn't in-game.
Record created on 25-Apr-2000.
Owned by a Mike Fitzgerald of Boise.
Sounds out-of-game.
Since someone called and the bartender on duty didn't know of a Maurice, do we send someone on a road trip? Or do we try e-mailing Maurice at infoSPLAT tablerockbrewpub.com or at mauriceSPLAT tablerockbrewpub.com ?
I'm trying to balance finding Maurice, without overloading the brew pub with dozens of phone calls or e-mails.
