Day 2 screenshots Day 2 only has a CC'ed message from Max and a box of intel.

TO: Jack
CC: All Agents
Jack,
We have blocked the people following you for twenty-four hours, but time is running out. The agents I have assembled have put themselves at considerable risk to do this. If you want to get anywhere near the truth about your father, you have to work with me on this. I understand that you wanted to get away, but the only way we have any chance of success is for you to work with me. So, you have a decision to make tonight.
You can run now. I have a world of experience in making someone seem to disappear. I think this could be a good option for you considering the people who are after you. But if you do this, you must never look into mystery surrounding your father's death again. The past will have to remain in the past.
You could also choose a far more dangerous path. If you survive it, I believe you will one day uncover the real story behind your father's death. If you live for the truth, as I do, and choose to fight for it, then I can help you. But right this very minute you will have to decide to work with me. Not against me. I have been working on this for years and have built a network of agents to support this, so I am not going to put up with your petulance for one second.
Your choice, Jack.
Max
Here are screenshots of the 10 pieces of intel, pieces 6-10 are in 2 parts because of the flash layout. Haven't read everything yet, I'm hoping there's some sort of link, email or phone # in there somewhere. A lot of references to Echelon.

And They're Off Day #3? Or Day #2 part 2? Well it looks like the livegames site has been fixed - login problems have been corrected and the top 20 is now on the front page. I'm only #18 (how'd that happen?) and another uFer I saw on Enoch "Mickey Finn" is #16 - anyone else from uF on the scoreboard (chelec, aislyn)?
An email from Jack was added that was supposed to precede yesterday's, and connects the dots a bit more:
Quote:
Max,
I guess you could say I'm not appreciative of people following me. You need to tell me how you knew I was looking into my father's death. Or else you are as bad as they are.
But you are right. I need help. At this very moment, you seem to be my best chance to slip these guys. I am sitting here in an internet café freaking out whenever I hear a loud noise.
So look, I am grateful that people are helping you. Tonight, I have my car and I am heading up state to meet with the only friend I trust to get some money and a phone.
If what you are saying is even half true, then someone had something to do with my father's death.
Tell me what to do.
Jack
Still no task, just a big pack of intel that doesn't point anywhere yet.

I didn't make the leaderboard. We've got a task for today, but I have no clue how to get into it. It requires a user name and password that are different from the one used to get into the agent dashboard. I've tried a bunch of different things, but I can't figure it out. It's probably in the intelligence file somewhere, but I can't find it.

Lots of intelligence to go through with a hint that we can do additional research which may help later.
The task again was straight forward - go through phone logs to find a cell phone number and locate the user, sending Max the info again. So he's off to meet Jack.
I'm RachelC on the network and I've not made the top 20. Is it speed of completion that drives the leader board or something else.

Lol, thanks for that! I can't believe I didn't think of it, I went through all of the intel and tried about 20 combinations.

Heh, Max says also if you can get to Jack first. Anyone want to contact Live Games Network and tell them you're on your way?

Yeah, I actually got in about three minutes after I posted, just by trial and error. And I managed to make the leaderboard today, so I guess I did something right.
Anyhow, for those that aren't able to play, yesterday's task was to track a cell phone signal. The signal tracked to Pleasantville, NY (which is about 5 minutes from where I live). I had to do something in the city after work, so I didn't bother going by to see if anything was there, but others did. Here's a video of what the LGN people have set up for us. Pretty cool, actually. I might have to go by tonight and see if it's still there.

Digital Tracks Catcher in the Rye? Hrm... I am flat out puzzled on this one (yes, pun intended). If anyone has a few clues or hints feel free to share
So far I've got the dulles flight, bonded warehouse, diplomatic immunity, and I *THINK* Customs Service personnel. Otherwise I'm just arbitrarily clicking on search terms hoping to make a match. Help!

3 out of your 4 are correct..the one you are most sure about. For the other two - think marked maps and literary references (google is your friend here). Everything is definitely from the second batch of intell.

Today's puzzle was the first that meant you had to really find things that were out of the game console. Find the right content on some external sites like craigslist and put the codes in the right order to access the right stuff. Nothing too hard - the clues are straightforward and the right parts easy to find., The main issue is the time frame - if you're not around, you lose.

can anyone else decipher anything from the e-mail? If it has anything to do with the last cipher in intelligence then I can't figure it out either.

Is there anything in the email? I know there's typos in the task that makes getting the numbers/codes correct impossible. Read the thread in the game forum.
