Did anyone else notice the numbers that flashed over the screen during the first video. There is a momentary matrix like code. After seeing it 3-4 times I realized that there are numbers that are bolder and brighter than the rest. I got some of the sequence, but I can't make out the ones that go over her face. Does anyone else have the sight or right tool to see it?

The whole serial killer thing... through the Internet... anonymous strangers wanting to meet you and... do stuff... weirds me out.

Watching the first video again, and the chat conversation that is going on when she talks about dashing off to SoHo.
It seems our RhinoJock27 sent IronWheat a picture of the Smiley Face you see at the very start of the video..


Right before the "death scene" of the first video, when you see a fast moving camera in the hallway, the voice says "Your making a mistake"


Also someone might want to check this but the very end of the 1st video there is some music, the lyrics I can make out are:

Just to save anyone else the trouble of extracting and analyzing FLV audio - all reversed sounds are simply copies of the linear audio. For instance, at the beginning of the goodman video the backmasking says "go out with you? I don't even know you".

ETA - other backmasking/pitchshifting includes a male voice saying the words from the chats on the screen "will you go out with me? no." and something like "rare condition" - can't remember if that's in the chat.

In any event - I LOVE THIS! This is what I would expect if Darren Aronofsky (pi/requiem), David Lynch and Oliver Stone teamed up to make an ARG.

Haven't yet transcriped the code flashes - my eyes are starting to hurt...

Although some might say it's early for speculation, what if the guy that everyone is calling the serial killer really isn't? Every time someone knocks on the door, you hear the voice saying, "Don't go. Don't go. Don't go." Repeatedly. What if he's trying to STOP people from getting killed?

Other than that, I'm going to look through these videos again. Let's see what I can find.
