Sent the blackmail letter...which I still find funny since all I did was ask a question. Hopefully it's vague enough to get what we need.

See above for the tragicomedy of Phil.

Oddly, I agree with his decision to keep the news from Brackin and Foo. I can't see either of them having productive reactions to this information--they're not going to be all buddy-buddy now that they know Phil is the present-timeline man behind the puppets supporting the future timeline's agenda.

keep them occupied and out of trouble? sooo, this administrative table met out next year, they both have something big in it, not just foo... and since they know about brackin, and to me it doesnt seem too concerned about him, he must not be as bad as i thought he was Smile

As an unexperienced UF'er I like reading these E-mails. Granted the ones with replies are by far the best, but it doesn't bother me to read your latest mail to Phil. Simply because that seems to be almost all that's going on game wise atm.

Also

We do get an extra hint at where Phil is hiding, besides the Van and chopper bit. He mentions weather, and he does it rather specifically:

It's been about a week since I last heard from Phil, so I finally buckled under and sent this email to Brackin. I then copied the email I got from Phil verbatim. I didn't include Phil's email here because you can look up a few posts to find that.

I've taken contact with Phil aswell, mentioning the date-discrepancy.

He offered me info to keep it quiet, so, anything we need to know that I should ask him?
Possibly stuff about Adam, since he seems to be taken captive soon?

I'd be interested in finding out what Phil's been DOING at work that's kept him so busy recently...but I think the main thing, as you said, is if Brackin contacted him recently and what that conversation entailed (ie, "I am in Key West, come kidnap me! or some variant of that)
