Ashton is branded on his right hand (cross inside a circle)
and he's crazier than we know, the page may not be that easy to get

I felt it was important to post this information here as it relates to Ashton.

Mache means 'corn salad'. Any of several plants of the genus Valerianella, especially a Eurasian annual (V. locusta or V. olitoria), having small, white to pale bluish flowers and edible young leaves used in salads or as a potherb. Also called lamb's lettuce, mache.

Valerian is one of the herbs used by the people in Gatewood. Also, Valerian root stinks. Wink

I can't believe this! All I wanted was to run a good business!

I guess Paper Mache and Brains turned out to be a bad idea. I can't afford the rent in the shop, due to lack of business. On top of that, the neighboring shops are complaining about the smell.

I told them, "It's paper mache, it's not supposed to smell good!" Turns out it was the smell of rotting flesh due to poor storage that got their panties in a wad.

I still like the name PAPER MACHE BRAIN. Maybe I should work on something else. Hmmmm....

So, I called his number. I had no way to record the message, but he said,

Okay, I have it now.. So I looked up the Zodiac killer.

The Zodiac Killer was a serial killer active in California during the 1960s and 1970s. The killer coined the name in a series of taunting letters he sent to the press. His letters included four cryptograms, three of which have yet to be solved. He is believed to have murdered at least five victims in Benicia; Vallejo; at Lake Berryessa near Napa; and in San Francisco between December 20, 1968 and October 1969.

There were a number of suspects, the most well known being Arthur Leigh Allen (December 18, 1933 - August 26, 1992). 1966-1968: Allen taught at Valley Springs Elementary in Valley Springs, Calif. His teaching career ended when he was fired for molesting a student.

December 1968: Allen's mother, Bernice, gave him a Zodiac watch* as a gift. (According to Allen's brother, Ron, the watch was received in December 1967). [*note the solar cross symbol and the name 'Sea Wolf']

So after my earlier conversation with Mr. Ashton, I wrote back

I totally agree with you that those are words that you do not want to hear - but at the same time, are words your enemies don't want to hear as well. It may be best to use them when you fear those looking out for you are near .. just to make sure you are safe.

I've heard through a friend that you are quite the artist. I even hung your picture up in my station at work. It's nice to look at and yet a bit puzzling all at the same time. I've seen the Solar Cross, which has had meaning to so many people .. some good, some not so good. I've heard this had a special meaning to your dad as well along with the ram, the bull, the lion and all the signs of the zodiac.

What I find even more interesting through is the collection of numbers and letters that you've decided to decorate the page with. Do they have a special meaning to you? Your dad? I can't believe they are random. So anything you can tell me, may take us one step closer to you being able to step outside that door feeling free.
