Email to Rick Mohnburg

I sent an email to Rick Mohnburg inquiring about a position in R&D, I stated that I had 7 years of experience in R&D with the US Air Force and was currently going to school for a PhD in Mathematics. Here is his reply:

"
Thank you for your interest in work for U-Media. I will take your application into consideration and contact you again shortly. However, I wonder first whether your skills would be better suited to our Engineering department? I have forwarded this e-mail to James Maxwell, head of Engineering. If you are interested, please let him know. He receives a lot of mail as I understand it, so two messages are more likely to register with him than one when he sorts through them.
If you would nonetheless prefer to pursue your interest in Research and Development, please let me know duly.

Yours,

Rick Mohnburg
Human Resources

"

I was starting to think that everyone was being funneled into R&D, what with the responses we have seen so far, but this email seems to directing me towards engineering. Should I write Maxwell?

(Disclaimer, this is my first ARG, well okay City of Domes was but that dies in childbirth. I'm hoping to be of a modicum of help here and mostly just not to get underfoot)

Vice-versa in my case: I wrote James Maxwell, made a case for myself being useful to either R&D or Engineering due to my expertise in the representation of environments in simulation, and received the following in reply:

James Maxwell wrote:
I feel your expertise would be an asset to our Research and Development team, especially in the area of composition and representation. I have forwarded your details on to Rick Mohnburg, our head of Human Resources. I expect he will be in touch with you very soon.

James.

I await email from Rick Smile .

To a watch?

A rather nice one, but does it mean anything?

Robert Green seems to have misplaced a rather valuable item.

http://www.watches.co.uk/watch.php?wid= ... bf26c8fbd0

Have no idea if it means anything or not.

It does have a quote reference number, rather than just being a random search.

Edit: Possibly it is his watch that is causing the problems for the copier on the fourth floor?

email decoded

I took the last 13 letters and applied them to the first 13 in corresponding reverse order, ie: A is Z, B is Y, etc. and translated Hobart's message. Here's the message in its original form, and cleaned up a bit for clarity by me.

This is address is not safe. They can watch me here. Use the blog address. My access is erratic. If I get caught on this machine everything is for nothing. Find helixx xhxxx.

I have no guesses as to what "helixx xhxxx" means. I preserved his spacing with that one, since I don't know if it's one word or more, and if more how it's divided.

ps. I'm a long-time lurker, first-time poster.

Correction
Atbash

Hello,

I checked the decoding above and the last section is "find help xxxhxxx"

K corresponds to P in atbash.

Lines written by Verlaine, which were broadcast over radio by the allies to let the French resistance know that the Normandy landing was imminent. Is some invasion imminent now?
