I'm still playing with mine as well. no further along since picking it up the first time. (I decoded all the clues prior to touching it.)

 Isis Adventure
Help me please - Can't solve

Hi There,

Right, I got the isis today as a present for christmas, I'm only 15 and i'm stuck! I've worked out all the clues, and i'm stuck at number 5.

What do I need to turn ? When it says the Isis, Does it refer to the whole spere, the rings or the plunger on the top (as that says ISIS in Hieroglyphics).

I've managed to get 3 ball bearings, and i even tried going through all 13824 combinations to try and unlock it!!! (which, for anyone who also tries to do this, failed miserably).

If anyone can help me out, I would really grateful.

Thanks

Lewis

Struggling to get third ball bearing

I too received this as a christmas present, have spent the whole day playing with it and have deciphered the 10 clues, but have not made any progress - it still looks and sounds the same as when it came out of the box.

Is there some kind of code in the hieroglyphs that you have to work out, or do the ring positions not matter... or what?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks
Jo

Help

I don't know, I think i now have all 3 ball bearings because it sounds more "full" and has a louder noise than before. but i only got that by messing about with it, i'm not actually sure what the code you have to crack is or if you just do it by trial and error.......

I'm getting annoyed with it already. The rings, i'm not sure if they mean anything. SOMEONE HELP US PLEASE!!

Hi All,

I've previously been cube hunting and just recently got onto the Isis I. But after 2 weeks of twisting and shaking and rattling and plunging the ball. I'm about to put it away in a drawer.

I've solved all the clues. They were a bit on the easy side (compared to perplex city stuff).
I believe I can hear three balls. I have silenced all the balls by
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
holding it plunger side down
Not sure if that is relavent.
Christmas morning I thought I'd hand it around see if anyone else could solve it. But instead I recieved it back with the plunger rotated at 90 degrees to the gold engravings,
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
which also moved the magnetic poles
. Is this relevant.

Since there is only 2 gold coins left, I'd like to put this puzzle to rest. Anyone prepared to send me a life line??

Merry Christmas
AL

Hello Folks!

For as much as I agree with konamouse that you need to register, there is one thing that I would say you won't get; The Absolute Answer to the ISIS.

Since the ISIS is an expensive puzzle and that puzzle has a competition behind it (GOLD!), I wouldn't expect that anyone is just going to post the answer to the puzzle. (In fact, I think the puzzle creators would appreciate it if the mods of this forum kept that kind of thing from happening - just my 2 cents - not an offical request) There are still 2 gold coins out there worth 500 pounds each.

Between the posts and clues in this forum, the forum at the offical ISIS site, the deciphered clues in the booklet and the symbols on the cardboard box that the ISIS came in, you have all you need to open the ISIS.

The clues read just like a story... step by step to opening the ISIS.

I will tell you this, most of those people who got the ISIS and opened it the first couple of days out of the box were not very happy. For 99 pounds, it seemed to be a quick thrill and then nothing. The ISIS is collecting dust and they are waiting to drop another large sum on ISIS II. I worked on mine for over 2 months. It was fun - It was frustrating - I threw it a few times; but in the end, that is part of the challenge.

Here's to wishing that you get all you came for out of the ISIS,

Well I'm utterly confused because it implies you don't need to turn anything anticlcokwise until you have the third ball-bearing... but there seems little information about how you get that third ball bearing (other than something in clue 1)... I feel that clue 5 is the key, please someone tell me if I'm right?
