Silver card scratches off?

My Silver card #235 Circuitous fell on the floor and the wheel of my chair went over it. Some of the green has scratched off to reveal silver underneath. It looks the same as the border. Has anyone else noticed this. I don't want to completly destroy a silver for no reason, but could there be a puzzel under the puzzels on the silvers which leads us to the cube? Or on any other coloured cards? If any one else has noticed this have you found anything under the ink?

While I can't guarantee that there's no puzzle down there, there is a known problem with the printing process where the ink can come off easily. This is most prominent on the code, where people have scratched straight through the code itself and to the silver backing trying to redeem their silvers. I'd hold off on wrecking your card for now.

I second that. I remember during the ongoing odyssey of Shuffled somebody scratched the whole printing off the silver background - without revealing anything (except the silver background, that is).

Also, take heed of this testimonial by fellow afflicted UKver 2.0:

My best moment was when I just stared off in a daze one day and started separating the layers of the card - it's completely ruined. My wife snapped me out of it and I had no explanation for what I was doing or why, but I can now say for a certainty that there are no hidden clues on the interior the card.

Thanks guys,
Sorry to have posted this even though it's come up before, but I have a short attention span and can't stay focused on forum pages for to long before I'm reading without really reading.

My cat tried eating Dunedey's Medallion and Cow Cow Cow Cow Cow. There's a reason why Satoshi is as far from her mouth as possible in my icon.

No secrets were revealed in that fashion, though there are still 254 cards that have not had cat saliva applied to them yet.

Get in touch with GuyP at MindCandy - they will replace overscratched silvers. Or at least they were.
