cupragaz, everything that you need is in the above posts, but here are the appropriate bits in order (particular thanks to pjm1974, what with this and Ishihara and X-linked, I'm starting to think that there's a conspiracy!):

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
search wikipedia for golden and irrational, you're looking for a long number, this gives you the number the beads represent

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
use pjm1974's post above to assign numbers to the colours of the beads...I really cannot see the difference between clear, yellow, and green, and also between blue and turquoise (blue's the opaque one apparently)

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
use doomsdayred's post to count along the number that you found on wikipedia, which is helpfully spaced in tens, to get the five digits you need. Translate these to colours.

If you really, really can't be arsed PM me Wink . I think people are being coy about posting the actual answer because it's a bummer to work out and misery loves company.

UGH! Well, I just now received this card, and it isn't any easier to see than the pic on JaffasWorld. I'm sure I have the right number set, but counting the beads and discerning the actual colors of the beads, is too difficult online and, apparently, even when I have it in hand, especially when what they call 'green' sure looks 'black' to me! The glare of the shiny transparent ones blends some together, even with a magnifying glass, and is giving me a headache! I *could* just make a couple of guesses, give or take a couple of digits, but where's the fun in that? I'll have to study this one some more if the first of the next 5 beads isn't
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
clear
Confused

*edit*
I misunderstood "green SQUARE BEAD black... ", reading it as a 'green square bead'... Sheesh! Embarassed
But I'm not any closer, as the 'green' is now one of the transparent beads. Sad

UGH! I miscounted the numbers before, and was 10 off.
Thanks for opening my eyes! Shocked
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Your yellow bead was 10 numbers past my clear bead... Sheesh!

By the way European Chris, PI is no use at all! Wink

Now I have the card...absolutely none! Damn infinite number of irrational numbers.

Tip:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Rather than counting the number of bead and then counting to that decimal point on the number. Just work out the last few numbers on the string of beads and do a search for them. You could save about half an hour

I'm such a twat.

FYI - no need to count every bead
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Sequence the first 10 or so, to identify which digit corresponds to which color.
Then pick a pattern near the end - which I approximated at around the 200th digit, based on string length - and find that pattern in the number.

I have figure out how to solve this card and looked at all the hints here because things weren't matching up for me.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the next 5 beads are the 201st-205th, correct? wikipedia displays these numbers as different than 26750, however 26750 corresponds to the correct answer of yellow black red orange clear. one other problem i noticed was at the first yellow bead this pattern no longer matches up with the number on wikipedia, and that there should be the yellow bead first. can anybody point out to me where i went wrong?

thanks

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
what i forgot to mention was that it seems to me i or someone else must have mixed up the 2 and the 0. i believed that yellow was 2 and 0 was clear, however every time i check the number on wikipedia, everywhere i think i should see a 2 i see a 0 and everywhere i think i should see a 0 i see a 2. now i would have thought maybe i just mixed up the colors, until i saw the spoiler saying that the correct answer is 26750 making 0 = clear. likewise the 5 numbers i came up with were 06752, exchaning the 0 and the 2. did i just make a mistake in the colors or something? thanks for any help once again

Hints to get you going:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
There are ten different colours of bead.

Each different colour of bead corresponds to a different number.

To work out which colour corresponds to which number, you need to work out which long number it is that is being shown with the string of beads (It's a famous one (Not as famous as Pi, though)), and match up the numbers to the colours.

Then you need to find the next 5 numbers in the long number, and work out which colours you'll need.
