It's the very beginning of the call, and I think it's the anomaly/rogue program/AI, or whatever. The last word is something like "transmit" ... like "preparing for transmit"

Thanks - actually, audio/DSP/communication theory was my specialty in college. I wish I still had access to Matlab, which would let me extract the vocal parts cleanly...

The sentence starting with "you know i have no idea" ends with "came from". The word(s) before that sound like they are ending in 'tractor' or 'attractor' or something quite like it... what could it mean?

Also, great work Chancesend!

I was thinking about putting up a list of my own specialities for the PM's, so they can design a few puzzles for me to solve, but the list is not very long... it's not even a list at all at the moment Embarassed

I think because it was one of the "security holes" she was patching (eg her e-mail to mlo), and she had to analyze it first, or something.

I was just going over some old material when something occurred to me: One of the less ambiguous parts of the phone call is a young man saying

Going back over some of the stuff in the hacker conversation, Caesar says the following to Scratch in bigmclargehuge3.jpg:

Could Caesar have called Scratch up on the phone after that, so he could yell at him in real life? That call might be the source of "Dude, what do you think you're doing?" The presence of Scratch's music from carelessly.mic elsewhere in the phonecall (tinkling away over the man talking about '500 percent') does suggest that it has something to do with Scratch.

I have no particular reason for why that's important or even useful. But I have been wondering why that clip would appear in the message, and maybe this helps us towards the reason. I'm halfway inclined to think that Scratch is the one who is responsible for the Halloween hack. If he is, I bet he'd think that including a clip of Caesar being angry at him in that phone message is just hillarious.
