The Tremendous Adventures of Major Brown
A short story from 1908 predicts ARGs?!?!?!!! Kewl!

Oh, Wikipedia. How i love you so. Thanks to the efforts of a certain "JHFTC" on Wikipedia, i discovered a short story written by turn-of-the century author G. K. Chesterton, called The Tremendous Adventures of Major Brown.

JHFTC wrote:
I read the story, realized what the Adventure and Romance Agency, Limited really was, sat bolt upright, said 'I'll be damned', and went here straightaway.

I'll lay it down for you in simple terms: This short story, aside from being well written and a good read, predicts the existance of Alternate Reality Games!!!! And it was written in 1908!!!! Surprised

Plus, it's a sweet story.

Oh, and it's up for anyone to read for free too. I suggest you do so. You can find it here.

It's well worth it. Check it out!
