hi 13 - if you are going to be hanging out here, you might want to go ahead and register your nick. That way you can edit your post instead of replying to your post (when yours is the last one in the thread).

No one is hiding anything from you. This puzzle has not been fully solved. However, since there is a significant monetary prize involved, you can imagine that if there is no answer posted in the regular game sanctioned ISIS forums, it's also not going to be found in here either.

We like to foster a community of cooperation in uF. We encourage helping and solving puzzles together. How about you post the puzzle (so those of us who did not buy an ISIS can maybe help you figure out the answers to the clues you get with the ball.

 amazing pics!

The x-rays are amazing, thanks stanners!

I'm really starting to believe I will never get into this thing. I know I know it's only been 5 days but I've not even reached "first base" as far as I can tell there are still only 2 ball bearings running around in there despite my most forceful efforts Crying or Very sad

Back to studying those pics now

 A sticking plunger

Has anyone experienced their plunger sticking at clue 6 stage?; I think I've hit the right spot where it depresses slightly, then it seems to depress fully again!

 still stymied

I'm still stuck at the beginning stage Sad Starting to wonder whether my Isis is faulty.

Please could someone confirm whether the below _should_ release the third ball bearing?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Banging the Isis really hard while holding it facing North (I've tried having the plunger facing true north or upwards, and having the gold placenta symbols facing up or down as well as banging it in pretty much every orientation I can think of)

Cheers guys
Jo

HELP

I can hear three ball bearings but not sure how clue 5 works. Do i actually need to be turning the blue rings or the plunger or the whole ball in the direction in clue 5 because nothing works. Also i have no compass so not sure which way to hold the isis ball, Placentas on top plunger down etc? Help greatly appreciated!

yeah. im stuck on that also...
im pretty sure that:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the placentas face up, hence the plunger is facing north (away from you)

however, i do now know which way to turn and what to turn. i can get it to build up pressure on the plunger, but thats it, if you push hard it carries on down. so no luck there... Confused
anyone know if i am going in the right direction. and can anyone tell me which 'direction' i should be going in...if you get me Wink

yes Gabbo...
i was thinking its the middle ring and also the ring closest to plunger...
however all i can get is the pressure on the plunger to increase by turning, so i am stuck. others are saying that the placenta's are 1cm appart...that makes me think do you twist them and FORCE it anticlockwise to be apart...i just dont know =/

You require no force to open an Isis

It is very difficult to hear the 3rd, I have never known if the 3rd ball has been released, I just assume it has and go through the clues. If the isis is not at a stage it should be I start again and keep doing this until it is at the stage it should be before continuing.

Answer to the other thing "yes"

The clues are a step by step way to solve it but are "vague" you need to use some logic. If the clues stated precisely what you should do it wouldn't be a puzzle.

Read the clues over and over. when you do open it you will think I should have opened it sooner if only I analised the the "11" clues better Smile
