What free t-shirt?

When people were questioning the $5 pay-to-play, I was just saying that after my first VQ ARG I got a t-shirt (just out of the blue). There was nothing about any free T-shirt (real or implied) during the sign up for Township Heights. Sorry if that confused anyone.

In the Virtuquest letter, Jacob says the first 20 people to sign-up will receive a free t-shirt.

Jacob wrote:
So there you have it. I'll say it here, because it won't be mentioned elsewhere . . . I will send one of our much-requested T-shirts to the first 20 of you who successfully sign-up .

I just received a very frantic call from someone named "Robert Ridge." He said he used to be an employee of Township Heights. He kept repeating, "Don't let them track me down." He also said something terrible is going on there.

Sorry, he caught me off guard. I was walking out of the door.

Robert Ridge just called me too. He said he used to work at Township Heights and saw my name on "the list". He also said "Do not go!" =S

Phone Call

I just received my phone call
Robert Ridge introduced himself, stated he used to work in the mayors office and that the mayor changed, that my name was on the list, that he didn't have time to call everyone on the list and that i needed to do something, as he was telling me what to do the call went dead.

I don't have the money in my account to sign up right now, Christmas broke me, but i sent and email to jointh<@>townshipheights.org and i received a quick auto response.

Quote:
Thank you for showing interest in our community.

Township Heights is currently involved in a targeted recruitment campaign. As a result, we have suspended general public recruitment for the time being.

Please check back early next year when our target campaign is complete.

Thank you;

Jay Blankenburg

jblankenburg<@>townshipheights.org
Assistant to Mayor
Township Heights

Which gives us another email for Jay Blankenburg, jblankenburg<@>townshipheights.org, so maybe Robert Ridge has the email rridge<@>townshipheights.org and then maybe not.

ETA: Strikethrough as the email is not functional see Russell_K's post below.

Just sent a feeler email out the adress you suggested, nothing explicit just testing the water:

Quote:
Heya Robert,

Long time no hear, havent seen you in ages and wondered if you fancied meeting up for a drink sometime. Shelly was asking about you the other day and got me thinking to the old days.

Let me know if you are still at this address and drop me a message!

The party you are trying to reach is no longer affiliated with Township Heights.

Thank you
