So maximus in IRC figured out that we should try getting the voicemail by calling Microsoft and asking to be transferred to v-loki at microsoft.com

That gave us a new voicemail from loki:

http://www.zerogen.net/loki/loki.wav

"Awesome Work. All Knowledge Eventually Needs Effective Diagnosis"

So I listened closely and tried harder: First letters -> AWAKENED

http://www.vanishingpointgame.com/awakened/

Which gives us a new number to call...

Solving the META puzzle

According to Elan (and if anyone would know, *he* would, since he's a PM): The META puzzle cannot be solved until after the last live event (the one in Seattle). And, yes, there are ARG components to this puzzle.

Meanwhile, I feel sorry for people at MS. You guys are flooding their inboxes and voice mails. I'm afraid they are not going to use 42entertainment for publicity again if we keep doing this. Or they are laughing their heads off. Not sure which.

Ohh, nice job Ehsan. Now *that* is thinking like an ARG player. Wink

I believe that is rubbish from the background of the page. Usually hidden source code stuff has a "<p><_>" in front of the hidden text.

Here's an example from Sammeeeees: <p><quote>&nbsp;</p>[/quote]

Yeah if I remember my mythos right Kitsune are magical foxes, which can be tricksters like Loki.

EDIT: yup, wiki article is quite interesting on them

So Ehsan or maximus - you had to call the main number and ask for her? Ooh! Interaction! And perhaps very tolerant MS operators.

Her last flight AK 394 is Alaska Airlines from Seattle nonstop to San Jose, CA

Is there a former ATT building in San Jose?

I'm assuming the SW flight is from Las Vegas (after the first event/CES) to somewhere (one of the next event sites?), but without a destination the Southwest website doesn't provide info. Anybody know a better way to get information about what those flights all are?

Augh... I did that and was asked who to be transfered to... but I had a class in my computer lab and didn't want to be loudly asking for "V Loki" on the phone in front of a bunch of nosy 7th graders >.<

At least I was on the right track...

-AB+

edit: just a note, the other extention was "V Loki" aka x85654

now it's x55654 - three letters for 5, and this could be K. Loki now.

but what company is in that building now?

edit again: Adobe Customer Briefing Center?

The flights are as follows:

AW 291 Seattle to LV
SW 608 LV to Los Angeles
AA 1308 Los Angeles to Austin
UA 373 Austin to Denver
AK 394 Seattle to San Jose

All of them connect except that last one...

[edit - fixed the typos - kona]
