It's not our part to judge what's a mistake and not - which is one reason why we share what we find, assuming the PMs are monitoring these (or other) forums, so that they can be the judge and fix it however they please, if it is indeed a mistake, or do nothing if it's simply part of the intended game.
As there are no rules to ARGs, just guidelines and etiquette, all methods are possible, but the person needs to determine clearly whether they are necessary, appropriate or potentially harmful if unexpected, and share what's found. That's just part of arg etiquette.
As for brute forcing, even a PM from The Beast (was it Elan?) said at one point they were glad brute forcing was used to solve a puzzle... or something along those lines.

rolerbe summarized it well imo. And that's the thread where brute forcing was discussed and beaten to death, not here. Razz

 		Give it a try, let us know. And explain your logic so other players don't reproduce your path and can focus on new stuff if this path doesn't produce anything. Or are prepared to think about the next step once they learn your results.

The next event will take place in florida on the beach I mapped out the GPS coords from the web page. It doesn't look like a spectacular spot but whatever I may be wrong. This is the first time I have ever had to do anything like that.

I think that Loki, who is using the puzzle contest to find people to help her build something ( sort of like Melissa building her crew in a certain way, for all you ilb players) , used as many aspects of those puzzles to get her story out as possible. I sill think that the answers to the puzzles, particularly those that don't fit the questions asked, are room for investigation.

I've looked around a bit... but with planning ARGFest and a sudden, though hopefully temporary failure of imagination, I haven't gotten anywhere.

just for fun, I sent an email to lokiSPLATamd.com; no bounce back which made me curious so I sent an e-mail to djsfklSPLATamd.com and recieved a bounce back. Therefore, possible valid amd.com e-mail address. perhaps you just need to put the right word in the subject, etc.

so in the second video she gave us a new web site Vanishingpointgame.com/collectionplate the says 2 of 36 found what does this mean. I say that there should only be two more website from the end of the last two puzzles. And if Loki is going to give us another question where will we find it.

It refers to the white boxes discussed in this thread. There are nine hidden among the twelve puzzles for each week, so at this point the top score would be 18 of 36. You have apparently found two of them so far.

Are we on the hunt, or saving the fox?

Kitsune leads to fox, her eye reflection is green, leads to kitsunesuki? (possession by fox usually female...hmmmm...loki is female) but shadow in lore reflects a fox at end of video seems like blurred could be outline of a fox face? Red Herring [trout in a crimson hue?] has a tie in it seems as a diversion to let a fox escape by using to hide trail (ie, RED DART? symbolism?), they have power of foxfire (FireFox perhaps? reversed for the program) further tie ins i'm chasing in circles is the idea that pi, the movie also made by requium of a dream? in the movie pi (symbol not word) the guy plays Go with his "mentor" very similar to some puzzles it seems....wonder if it ties in? the number 7 keeps repeating in my calculations, and says has 7 tails. so..... is anyone else being driven mad by this all? it's easy to over-think these.....
plus when i went to the puzzle with the coordinates when i searched loki under people in the program it brought up e loki at
555 New Brunswick Ave Apt
1G, Fords, NJ and the phone numbers scrambled together, when you roll over but not touch the names, varying parts of numbers and letters shift, i'm still working on this any help if it's even anything woulf be good, there are 2 listings that come up untouchable and theres one under Loki Wulf too.....anyone else see something in it perhaps?

On a second note, with the houdini incident..... it got me thinking, if he was a spy, could there be codes involved? so i went to thinking abt. LISTEN CLOSELY and wondered...does it have to do with Sebald code? after all they used morse, sebald code was used in a LOT of things, one being Werewolves In The Rain....basically using this code and picking out every 11th word after the initial "ring" to start and "ring" to end, i came up with "right you puzzles can in the disappear" which re-arranged is "in the right puzzles you can disappear" as if maybe if it IS something, can it have to do with the things sectioned out like a map? in the corners of the puzzles? as for using codes, using the couplet code the "white boxes" as far as i can tell say "would gamers" in the form of "wood ghmrs"
...maybe i'm just too deep in the hole, i dunno, someone give me a hand.... because she's fiddling with her wand, and houdini had a "Broken Wand" tie-in....? am i way off in cuckoo land or what do you think?

You really should register and then you can re-read your posts when you are sober and edit them so we can understand what you are trying to explain.

I have no idea what you are saying (except you repeated an entire paragraph you posted earlier). And it sounds like you are trying to find a real life address for "Loki" (who is a fictional character, by the way, and will more than likely be found "online" since they have to keep track of who finds her first).

 		Okay this is exactly the kind of speculation that one throws out there in between puzzles simply because we are looking for something new to grasp onto, but I wondered about the little cluster of compound nouns in the middle of Loki's latest video:

dry wall
white wash
base boards
billboards
swim meets
book swaps
name plates

It was the "book swaps" and "swim meets" that really got my attention. Those seem like pretty random/strange examples (although plausible enough for a college bulletin board). I also wondered whether 'name plates' goes with 'collectionplate' somehow (again, I'm stretching here).

In any event, if Loki had four majors and graduated in two years, there is no way-no how that she took chemistry too (the lab alone wouldn't have fit into her schedule), so how could she have had a chemistry professor?
