I was just thinking about all these leaked messages and the recent thing in the sentinel and suddely wondered, what if there have been messages like this on OTHER perplex city sites that we missed! I'll have a look around but my snooping skills aren't great so I don't know what I'll find.

The race to the cube . . . I think the 'We are close to a breakthrough' must be a hint.
I think it either means:
A) We are close somewhere;
B) There is another big fat hint coming;
C) We are shortly going to be out of time;
On a positive note, if they are building tension in tandem with the efforts we are making, I would favour this meaning that somewhere we have had a breakthrough but we havent realised it yet . .

Not wishing to be mean about it, but can people please check the wiki page before posting up what the messages say? The link once again:
http://perplexcitywiki.com/wiki/Library_of_Babel:_Project_Visor_Leaks
(Or check the appropriate section at http://perplexcitywiki.com/wiki/Library_of_Babel )
Sorry to sound narky, but it can get hard amid a flurry of posts to work out if people are posting new information or not... (Think back to all those leaked e-mails... )
BTW, I think the order of the messages does make sense - the last 2 are perhaps "essential communication" - makes you wonder how much comms was going on before the link was cracked down on...

V's looking for the cube. he's got the british 3P agent (who rewired the machine to work in N.America)to make a cube tracking device. close to the tests kurt and the gang descovered..
Tried every type of combo of the FRBP...string with my "key" idea. noda. zip. zilch, null, zero, that and a bunch of nothing whatsoever. thinking back on my spec, if the message was the key, CT would=V. i guess i'll just wait for more LoB.

(The letters A and B are missing from the bottom of a few lines in the first part of the animation. Where an X or a Y would be in the words, those lines are missing the A and B below them.)
when X lines up, B is missing. When Y lines up, B & C are both missing. i still see the letter A.

Looking at arrangements, is it possible that 3P deciphered something that we have not that gives, for example, a distance from a certain point?
They are saying that, out of 1000 possible locations:
* 660 have a margin of error of +-1000 miles
* 140 just don't work
* 120 have impossible locations
* 73 don't work with the computer
* 7 have a precise location
The think that stands out to me is the margin of error thing. What type of key would be able to produce results like this? Here's what it would need to contain:
* Some solutions could exists within a margin of error of 1000 miles
* Seven solutions are absolute
* There is a difference between solutions that don't work and solutions that aren't on earth
* There are some solutions that would cause some computer error
So, the question now is, what kind of a key are we looking for? And does it relate to FRBPULAFHPOSMLUCNIDYMENDBKIELGTPDOAAKILTIO?

In one sense we are being told that the 3P have by no means given up, and with a few adjustments could very soon have an exact location for the cube.
I can see this being a metaphore on two levels... 1) TINAG: We are quickly running out of time. They are very very close. 2) TIAG: Our speculations and ramblings are being monitored, of course, and we're being told that of all the random speculations on where the cube is someone has guessed right, but the guess received no attention, had nothing backing it up and/or has not been repeated by others.
I'd prefer the coordinates personally, easier to sift through. Now I just have to find them.

Gulrad: thanks for posting those images above, they are so easy to read.
So is this the correct thing - in flying the letters are missing depending on whether an X or Y is above them?

l00ks like it, but with b & c, (not a & b>like your post in the other thread.)
it would be one letteroff. x=b, y=c. i wonder if this if for just the M and E letters, i have all 42 letters of the Frbp... string saved in an excel file, with all 26 letters ROT'ed worked out, and if just x=b, y=c, ect. then the string becomes:
JVFTYPEJLTSWQ PYGRMHCQI RHFOMI PKXTHSEEOMPXMS
in bold are the letters that were M or E.

Well if we are trying to anagram the string as suggested previously, this new string would be fairly impossible as it contains a Q but no U, unless one of the words is IQ or something similar.
Like someone else also said, I agree that the results of the tests found on the new updates may be our attempts at guesses as to where the cube could be and the third power have managed to get access to them. I think another update from LoB is imminent and I think the cube will be found by someone soon. I also hope when the cube is retrieved MC will post solutions for all of the puzzles as it would be nice to see how it all came together.
If 66% of the guesses are out by more than a 1000 miles it doesn't really narrow down the search, the cube could still be anywhere in the northern hemisphere. If only we could find out a range of results within a set area, at least it would be a bit more help. Maybe LoB will provide us with a bit more help soon !

Percent The message given in the ARRANGEMENT Flash are of a different type from the rest of the "Hidden" messages.
These give a list of percentages..
I think it is no coincidence that the FLYING Flash has a "%" sign modifying to "mod....key"
100% = 1210% in Base 4
66% = 1002% "
14% = 32% "
12% = 30%"
7.3% = 13.103 %"
0.7% = 0.2303 %"
The number if the percents are out of 1000:
1000 = 33220 in Base 4
660 = 22110"
140 = 2030"
120 = 1320"
73 = 1021"
7 = 13"
6614127307 = 12022032321023023"
1006614127307 = 32221132320022023023"
1000660140120737 = 3203201201120030111222201"
