- accidentally got split

Putting it all in one place for the archives.

Develop Who?
I am sure you heard or have read the announcement from our new Mayor Pence. "Developmentis is coming." I have really liked what Mayor Pence has done for Township in the first few months, but now... Big corporations in our town? What about traffic concerns? What about pollution? What about taking workers from the local small business community?

Call me old fashion, I just cannot see Developmentis being a good fit for Township Heights. Yes, they will bring some good elements, but gee wiz!

I am not the only resident that feels this way. I have been online chatting with other community members and they feel similar to me. Why did the community not get a say in this? What is next, The Shell Oil Company? Do not get me wrong, I want what is best for the community. I just wish we had more input on this matter.

Who knows, maybe Developmentis is a blessing in disguise...

See you on the flip side Smile

How de Dooo all;

Yes! Township Days are fast approaching and I cannot wait to participate. This should be the "must attend" event of the year.As they say "If you're not there, you are square!"

For all of you that have not eaten at the new "Italiano's Cafe", you are missing out. The service and food is premium all the way. It is my new favorite! How impressed was I when Chef Patrizzio came out to introduce himself to me. I will admit, he is attractive! After some very pleasant conversation he excused himself back to the kitchen to whip up some more Italian Delights! Four stars awarded... (Out of four stars... silly)

If you have been wondering like the rest of Township Heights who donated the $$$ for the new Aquatic Center? I have dug up some information, I am not at liberty to officially say but it may have been a local corporation! I will post more when developments occur (Wink Wink)...

OK, not to mention actual names, but I did recently see a local establishment owner in Township Park with the new local news anchor. I wonder if this is a "major" development?

Until next time...

Quote:
Wassuuuuppp!

Wow what a great time to live in the Township. The new aquatic center is almost complete just in time for the Township Days Festival. I must admit, I was not the first person to welcome Developmentis to town ( read my posting "Develop-Who"), but after seeing what they have done over the past year...WOW They are truly a corporation for the community.

I being a very physical person cannot wait to take the plunge and rise early to get in a few laps before work. I have always been a good swimmer. Actually I was the fasted in the 50 yard dash in elementary school. Something I still hold dear to my heart.

Attention Attention!

New resident listings are available, if you are looking to expand your current living area or just would like to change, contact my friend Jan about these new beauties. If you do not... I just might.

Until next time, "Enjoy Life" as Mayor Pence would say

Quote:
Ahoy!
Well I have been out and about again. Lots of busy people and businesses in Township these days. I would like to clarify that I do not officially affiliate myself with the local Township News Publication, many of my readers assume I am employed by them, we all know what happens when you assume something, don't we.

Ok now... I am very happy to report (unofficially of' course) that this years Township Days celebration will be visited by some very famous entertainment acts. In a few days, once I get the official word I will let you know who is coming and who is not. Lets hear it for the THCC for helping out the Township Days committee getting this off to a great start.

Now for my rant if you will. I am not happy with the new parking meters. I am a little of a "germ-a-phobe" and now I have to touch those things to leave a hand print to park in my favorite downtown spots. Really, what is wrong with using ole fashion change? Germs, Germs everywhere! I am a big fan of Developmentis, but why on earth did they have to develop a new parking meter. I know about the complaints about broken coin slots, not having enough change, etc. but really. Germs!

Quote:
Welcome to Township!
Let me be the first to say, "Welcome to Township". I have actually met some of the first new residents and they seem wonderful. Of' course, they have lots to learn about Township, but didn't we all? Please be sure to stop by and tell them about Township or just say a nice "Hello".

The Tdays festival is fast approaching and I am just busting with excitement. Especially with the wonderful food. Ohhh the food... I will admit I cannot control my urges and desires when it comes to the grilled specialties available at the outdoor food banquet. At least I will have 365 days after Tdays to lose and excess weight Wink

Now to a sad note. I was informed late last night by a my sister, who knows a cousin of a former Township Mayors Office employee, that the former assistant to the mayor was involved in a freak accident involving a small gas leak and a large explosion. I am not sure why the local paper has not mentioned it, but I feel as a community member we should have some type of memorial or plaque... something. He did serve Township for several years and help all those in the mayor's office.

OK, lets move on. I was listening to the new releases from the Bill Brazel Band. I like 'em!
They really get me thinking and in the mood to groove! Yes, I can dance. I will have you know that I was actually on the popular 1980's show Solid Gold as a guest golden dancer for one episode. I will have to dig my beta-max out someday.

Alright, that is all for today!
Welcome the new residents...

Interesting artifact in the TS chat.

You do not have to be logged in to read the room. I logged out and it continued to show me the chat log.

2 new residents came into chat before I left - patdea & johnchad

scanned through the pages and didn't see this so if its a repost sorry:

If you go to the HOH "accounts" page and look at the source at the very bottom it says

developed by HOH under guidence of DC 2006 approval code "aaer:fiftyone"

aare= area . So "area fiftyone" again. lots of alien references.

Earlier today I sent Jay an email with this message hidden in it:

Quote:
I will help. What did Robert find

Jay responded with:

Jay wrote:
I and the existing community are glad you have felt a warm welcome
into Township. Although I have a wealth of information about the
Mayor's office, somethings are still new to me. I look forward to you
helping the community grow and be productive.

Sincerely;

Jay

It sounds like Jay has been turned into whatever, he completely ignored my message, or did he? What do you think?

Sorry if this has been posted before, but the second paragraph looks new to me:
Quote:
I am currently processing new Township Heights residents. I will be returning to the office in the next few days.

If this is an emergency, please contact the Mayor Office using the emergency contact number given to you at your Township Heights orientation.

Thank you,

Graphic at THmain

Okay, now I've been looking at this on my own for far too long, so I'm tossing it out here before going to bed (I would have tried the chat first, but I can't connect to the server at the moment).

This menubar at the first page of thmain (just under the photos) seems strangely non-symmetric. Are the white spots some sort of code?
If it's morse, dividing it into 3 distinct blocks gives "M N F" or "M I F" (as the middle one can be both "- ." and ". ."). Dividing into 5 blocks (which seems more reasonable to me) gives "M N I T E" or "M I I T E". Not really that useful Smile I've tried all those in the hidden login-box, at well as switching "-" and "." and doing it all backwards, but no results so far. It's probably a wild chase, but at least I've tried it.

I'm off to bed ...

Email decoded

Nice! The solution is found by
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"shifting" one letter to the left in the alphabet for the first word, two letters for the second, etc.

This gives the following

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Andy;
It appears the incorporation of the community into the
latest trial is in progress.
A total new research era awaits.
We might have a small problem with the local press blogger.
Advise course of action when you return.
ACD

ACD must be the CEO of DevCorp (A.C. Doyal), and Andy is of course Mayor Pence.

I found the letter and decoded it. How can I help? Is
devcorp using the town as one big test subject?

can communicate any problems or concerns with me here with safety in

Glad you are a new resident.

I guess he's being watched and can't respond in kind.

I'm thinking if I play along as a happy resident maybe I'll be able to get inside something! Ya think??

if you go to the thmain page (after you login), look at the area underneath the "ads" by establishment lounge. There is a hidden login area. Just type in "lookdeep" and hit enter.
